When a stray cat kept climbing up this woman's window, he had no idea he was about to snuggle (and nurse!) foster kittens. We spoke to his new mom, Julia, about how he discovered his biggest joy in life when he became a foster dad to rescued tiny kittens!

00:00This stray cat would literally climb onto my window and hang from the screen every day.

00:09He'd just be trying to get our attention and never really leave.
00:15Before he learned that he could climb up our window screen, I'd run into him around the neighborhood several times.
00:22And he immediately flops over for belly scratches.
00:25Look at this sweetie pie.
00:27This was pretty wild to me because there were so many strays in the neighborhood at the time,
00:32and he in particular became very clingy.
00:35Oh my gosh!
00:39Any chance he got, he would jump into my lap.

00:44Anytime I would be outside, he would be there.
00:47He just soaked up the attention.
00:51Part of the resistance to adopt him was because I was worried he was somebody's cat.
00:57We did ask around the neighborhood and confirmed that he was just a stray cat.
01:02So I decided to adopt him.

01:07I'm going to the vet!
01:09As soon as he got back from the vet and was on the bed, it was constant cuddles.
01:15The goofy face, sleeping with his mouth open.
01:19It just makes you realize that he's meant to be here.
01:21He's meant to be my cat.
01:24Any chance I get, I love to foster animals from my local shelter,
01:28but what I did not expect was how seriously Liam took this role as foster dad.
01:34In the beginning, the kittens were quite frightened.
01:38Liam comforted them.

01:41The kittens absolutely loved him.
01:45Nala, one of the foster kittens, had a really special relationship with Liam.
01:51She always wanted to be the little spoon.

01:59For some reason, the kittens loved nursing on him.

02:07The other two foster kittens were a bit on the shy side,
02:10but Liam really helped bring them out of their shell.
02:14I did not expect this stray cat who would hang on our screen
02:18to be just the perfect little foster dad.
02:24Eventually, they all got adopted into their new homes.
02:28I tear up every time letting go of these little guys,
02:31but I was really happy for them.
02:34Now that the kittens are gone, Liam's back to his regular clingy self.
02:39When I work from home, Liam really wants to be involved.
02:42He's part of my morning routine.
02:46I feel very honored to be chosen by Liam.
02:49He's the neediest little guy.
02:52He's definitely brought so much love and just, like, silliness into my life.
