00:00News this morning, Emmanuel Mosley, torn peck, out indefinitely.
00:07It's going to be a while.
00:08Dan Campbell said he thinks he's going to try and recover and maybe he'll be back by
00:10the end of the year.
00:11And he tried to put a good spin on it and say, look, he's coming off a knee injury.
00:15The good news is he can get his legs underneath them and really, really go over the top, rehabilitating
00:20and making sure that he's healthy in the lower half while he gets healthy in the upper half.
00:27But this sucks.
00:29And the good news is Tarion Arnold, clear from concussion protocol, he's back.
00:34But Mosley could be out for the year and that would be the third season ending injury that
00:38this team has suffered from a player that was considered a contributing player.
00:45And look, at no point have I started to think that the, oh God, here we go with the injuries.
00:52But the fact is, when you when you aren't getting guys injured, it's kind of like weeks
00:58later, you look around and notice and say things like, you know, I don't want to say
01:02anything, but knock on wood.
01:05And that's when you think a team is your team is relatively healthy.
01:10This is how it starts, where weeks later, they just start to pile up and pile up and
01:14pile up.
01:15And the next thing you know, Kendall Vildor is starting the NFC title game.
01:18And that this is the kind of thing that, you know, Arnold is OK.
01:23That's good.
01:24Zeitler doesn't sound like it's anything serious.
01:27He fought to Mellifam who's sitting out practice today.
01:29I think he Sam Laporta sat out yesterday with a hamstring.
01:32Brian Branch.
01:33Brian Branch is individuals only and seven on seven yesterday.
01:38None of those seem to be a concern.
01:41Emmanuel Mosley, maybe he was if he was going to be healthy with somebody that was just
01:45considered a bonus, but he was taking first team reps at Nickel Corner.
01:50And so they weren't preparing for him to be a bonus.
01:54They were at this point preparing for him to be a starter.
01:58I don't know if Kaminsky was going to be a starter and I don't know if Badger was going
02:01to win the Kaminsky probably wasn't and Badgley.
02:04I don't know if he's going to win the kicker's job.
02:07This might be the most significant injury yet.
02:09And.
02:10You know, I'm not.
02:12Not panicked, but this is kind of how it starts.
02:14Injuries start to pile up and pile up and pile up, and let's just hope they don't keep
02:19piling up.
02:20Yeah, you hope not.
02:21And when I saw that this morning about Mosley, I felt terrible for him.
02:25He's been through a lot.
02:26I mean, tearing your ACL twice, you know, having those surgeries and the rehab to come
02:32back from that.
02:33And he was so determined that it was such a good story like a week ago when he was emotional
02:38talking about how much he loves his team because the team believes in him to come back.
02:43And then here he is coming back.
02:45And as you said, getting some reps with the ones with the Nickel Corner.
02:49And then this happens.
02:50And, you know, it's not automatically ruling him out for the year.
02:55But it's this is not an easy one to come back from.
02:58CJ Gardner Johnson had it last year, but he suffered it during the beginning of the season.
03:03And then he came back towards the end of the season.
03:06I guess this the silver lining of this or the saving grace is that this happens the
03:11second week in a training camp well before the start of the season.
03:14So if he's able to come back on the same timeline, you know, they thought that was a pretty quick
03:18timeline for Gardner Johnson last year, that maybe he can come back for the last handful
03:22of games.
