00:00There's definitely a lot of sacrifices and juggling when it comes to having a baby abroad.
00:09What is it like having a baby in Australia away from home?
00:11When I do the Q&A box, it's the most popular question that comes up.
00:15Came out here on a work and holiday visa a few years ago and raising our baby boy.
00:20The truth is, we don't really know any different doing it over here on our own.
00:24It's just been us parenting the only way that we know how with no help.
00:28It's not a walk in the park like many others would say, but we are absolutely loving this new chapter of our Aussie journey.
00:34We're always out and about exploring.
00:36I fill in my matinee weeks with swimming lessons, baby sensory classes, library around time at Jimborough.
00:42And we live near the beach, so we spend a lot of time there.
00:45We go on road trips and holidays whenever we can.
00:47I'm in two mums groups, so my weeks are really busy and we just adore the lifestyle here.
00:52We know raising a baby away from family is just not for everybody, but we love Australia so much.
00:57We want Cove to go with this lifestyle and still have its Irish and English roots back home.
01:02You'll never be home again.
01:04Not completely.
01:06Part of your heart will always be elsewhere.
01:09This is the price you pay for finding happiness in more than one place.
