00:00I, Hassan Ali Joho, being appointed the Cabinet Secretary of Kenya, do swear that I will at
00:10all times be faithful to the Republic of Kenya, that I will obey, respect and uphold this
00:17Constitution of Kenya and all laws of the Republic of Kenya, that I will well and truly
00:23serve the people of the Republic of Kenya in the office of Cabinet Secretary, that I
00:29will undertake to uphold my office as Cabinet Secretary in honour and dignity, that I will
00:36be a true and faithful counsellor to the President for the good management of the public affairs
00:42of the Republic of Kenya, that I will not diverge directly or indirectly such matters
00:48as shall come to my knowledge in the discharge of my duties, and that committed to my secrecy
00:55accept as may be required for the due discharge of my duties as Cabinet Secretary, and that
01:02I will perform the function of my office conciously and to the best of my ability.
