00:15They're not as black and white as Leeds simply sending a fax out of the blue to Norwich saying,

00:26And then Norwich faxing back the word, no.

00:29It's more like someone picks up the phone to Norwich,

00:33having potentially spoken to a representative to gauge the mood of the player.

00:38And then they have a conversation and say, so this summer is going all right?

00:43Yeah. How was your pre-season? Yeah, good. Oh, good. Yeah. Did you get away?

00:46Yeah. Was it nice? Yeah. We went to Germany. Oh, yeah, very warm.

00:49Yeah. Hotel was great. So anyway, Jonny Rowe, it's a little bit more like that.

00:53It's more conversations and then, having gauged the mood,

00:57they'll fire like something across the bows.

01:00I'd be really surprised if Leeds went in as low as £7m.

01:08but I think I wouldn't be surprised because of the situation

01:11where Rowe has just a year left on his contract.

01:14You look at the deals that Leeds have done this summer.

01:17Rodan had a year left. Bogle had a year left.

01:20I know that Ljubicic isn't one that they've got done,

01:22but he also, I think, has a year left. They have targeted players

01:27where they can maybe undercut the selling club on price

01:31because of the contractual situation and now that's quite pressing.

01:34I don't think there's any harm in starting low.

01:37My take on it is that there will be a number at which Norwich will go,

01:42yeah, like we've done all right here. He's got a year left plus the option

01:47and he doesn't want to stay and we don't want an unhappy player.

01:50Let's get rid of him and let's take in somewhere in the region of 12 to 14.

01:58I don't know if Leeds would go to 15 for Rowe.

02:01It's, I think, depend on how it's structured.

02:03If you sign him and, you know, some of it's up front,

02:06but then you have potential future add-ons as in, you know,

02:09we'll give you an extra £3m if we're promoted.

02:12That's something which could potentially swing it.
