00:19I first found out, it was probably less than two weeks ago, it just came out of the blue.
00:24Utter shock, that's all I can say. Really, really sad because it's my favourite store.
00:35But I believe it was in the pipeline. I kept saying to my husband it's just a matter of time
00:43and then this one will close as well. Very sad, very emotional. It's a beautiful shop
00:50and there's a lot going on in there but obviously now you're closing down
00:53it's a sign of, you know, we're just joining the sales at the moment but it'd be quite emotional to
00:57go back up in there. That's all I can say, you know. Wish it wasn't closing down, that's for sure.
01:05I think it's going to be quite sad to lose such a big shop because we are not very spoiled for
01:09choices here so sometimes if you come from far, which I'm coming from like an hour away from here,
01:14for me it was quite comfortable and convenient to have many, many shops in one place.
01:20So we'll see if there's going to be anything better there. I'm not really bothered, I haven't
01:25been in there for a long, long time. It's somewhere where I would never have shopped anyway even
01:32in my younger days. It was on the high end of things and, you know, we were poor back in the
01:38day so it wasn't somewhere where I would have gone anyway so I don't think I have any memories of it.
01:45Quite sad really. It's the end of the department stores it feels like
01:51but it's a good time to buy clothes when they're closing down, a bit like when Debenhams went.
01:59I think M&S is coming next though. Something else is coming back and it was a shame when M&S left
02:07the Broadmead shopping centre so they're coming back so who knows how surprised it might come back
02:13again. So it's a bit of sadness and a bit of opportunity when there's not much money about to
02:21buy something.
