00:00Shocking accusations continue to pour in from former Mr. Beast employees, and if these latest
00:06bombshells are true, then they might be the ammunition that takes the Beast down for good,
00:12or at least takes him down a peg.
00:14I wish a philanthropist YouTuber would just give me 10K and not film it!"
00:19Near the end of July, one of Mr. Beast's former employees, who goes by Dogpack404, claimed
00:24Mr. Beast faked some of his videos in a nearly hour-long video uploaded to YouTube.
00:30On August 7th, Dogpack uploaded a follow-up video featuring a lengthy interview with Jake
00:35Weddle, a comedian who also worked for Mr. Beast from 2019 to 2020.
00:40The new video, which is given the inflammatory title of,
00:43"'I worked for Mr. Beast, he's a sociopath," contains some truly disturbing allegations
00:48about YouTube's biggest content creator.
00:50Aside from sharing Weddle's story, Dogpack also hints at another video that he plans
00:55to release in the future, which will cover, quote,
00:58"...serious allegations of sexual misconduct in the company."
01:01He claims to have learned that Mr. Beast knowingly hired a convicted sex offender and allowed
01:06him to appear in multiple videos while wearing a mask.
01:09Dogpack says his next video will explore that story, other allegations of sexual misconduct,
01:15and how Mr. Beast's team allegedly covered things up.
01:19"...he's wearing a mask.
01:20Why would you wear a mask?
01:21Why would you conceal your face?
01:22It's like, what are you concealing?
01:23That you are a registered sex offender?"
01:25This video, however, focused largely on Weddle's experience with the company, including a harrowing
01:30story about filming a solitary confinement challenge video for Mr. Beast that went unpublished.
01:36Mr. Beast has yet to respond to Dogpack's accusations or Weddle's horrifying story,
01:41but here's what they had to say.
01:43While speaking with Dogpack 404, Jake Weddle claimed that he helped Mr. Beast fake a video
01:48in which a meteor landed on his car.
01:51He also shared the story of how he got fired from Mr. Beast, and talking through it brought
01:55him to tears.
01:56Weddle claims that he learned one of his fellow writers at the company, an older black man
02:00with a wife and child, was being paid less than him.
02:03He decided to ask for a raise and to speak up on behalf of his co-worker.
02:07In response, Weddle claims the company gave them both severance checks and fired them.
02:14If I knew he was going to lose his job too, I wouldn't have done it."
02:18After Weddle was fired, he had a few opportunities to come back and appear in other videos.
02:22According to him, the potential for more work played a big role in his decision to keep
02:26his real feelings about Mr. Beast private.
02:29The video that paid him the most, Weddle claims, never saw the light of day.
02:33Weddle said that in 2021, the Mr. Beast crew invited him back to film a solitary confinement
02:38challenge video.
02:39They told him that he'd need to stay in a single room for 30 days, and that part of
02:44the video's gimmick would be that he'd decide which amenities, like an ice cream machine
02:48or a hot tub, to give up each day.
02:51Almost immediately, Weddle said, problems with the shoot became apparent, but he wasn't
02:56prepared for how bad things would get.
02:58The hot tub had no filtration, Weddle claims, so it stank up the room, and the ice cream
03:02machine also smelled of rotting milk, unless it was noisily running 24-7.
03:07Those two problems were bad enough, but the biggest problem was that he couldn't sleep.
03:12The team allegedly told him he couldn't turn the lights off in the room because it would
03:16ruin their time-lapse shots.
03:17I had no access to the sun, I got no access to the clock, the lights are on me all the
03:22time.
03:23I wasn't sleeping, I could not sleep, and I have insomnia problems now."
03:27He said that several people on the team were concerned about his health, and thought that
03:31the shoot needed to stop.
03:32He tried to keep going.
03:34His breaking point came after Mr. Beast allegedly told him to run a marathon on a treadmill
03:39as a daily challenge.
03:40The treadmill challenge left Weddle with massive blisters on his feet, and he eventually called
03:45it quits.
03:46Dogpack shared screenshots of contemporary text messages that seemed to back up Weddle's
03:50story.
03:51A noticeably lighter Weddle later posted a video of his own that expanded on some of
03:55his reasons for leaving Mr. Beast, but also implied that he'd been paid a considerable
03:59amount of money to keep quiet about the negative experiences behind the scenes.
04:05It remains to be seen whether Weddle's comments will warrant a response from Mr. Beast, but
04:09as Dogpack's video seems to make clear, there's still so much we don't know.
04:14The YouTuber may be trying to launch a toyline this week, but it seems with every new story,
04:19another piece of Mr. Beast's clean public image crumbles away.
