Olympics Day 15: athletics final day, modern pentathlon, track cycling

00:00Welcome to day 15 here in Paris of the Olympics. It's the penultimate day but also the last day of
00:04the athletics on the track in the Stade de France. There's middle distance hopes for Britain with
00:09Laura Muir going in the 1500 meters and also Georgia Bell. Georgia looked very good in her
00:13semi-final but both will be a push for a medal but it'll be tough. And also in the 800 meters
00:19another British athlete in Max Bergen who did well to make that final. He goes in the final
00:22later today. There's also the 4x400 meter relays and the women qualified second fastest. The men
00:29with the likes of Matt Hudson-Smith the silver medalist in the individual going there. Track
00:33cycling also that's the penultimate day there. Ethan Hayter and Ollie Wood who were part of the
00:39set up to win team pursuit silver they go together in the Madison. They've got a very strong chance
00:45but you know it's a tough tough event. Emma Finucane and Sophie Capewell they also go in
00:49the next rounds of the sprint. Joe Chong in the modern pentathlon has a lot of work to defend his
00:55title and we've also got British contenders going in both the diving
01:00and the golf but it'd be tough to consider those medal chances.
