00:00The past man who labelled DAP as Kafir Harbi has reportedly apologised over his remark,
00:08admitting that he got carried away while acting as the MC at an election charama.
00:13Zamri Zahari said in a Facebook post that his remark was excessive, unnecessary and
00:19had offended various parties.
00:22In the post, Zamri said as a past and Perikatan National activist and supporter, he is committed
00:28to democratic, lawful, inclusive and fair political ideals, rejecting enmity, slander
00:35and going over the top.
00:37Zamri is believed to be the head of the Pas Bacuk Division's Ulama Wing.
00:42His original post was not viewable to all users.
00:44However, it was reposted by others, including Melaka Pas on his Facebook page.
00:49Earlier today, Guamusang DAP's Youth Wing lodged a police report against the remark
00:54and called for an investigation into the criminal offence of causing disharmony, division
01:00or enmity based on religion.
01:02Zamri was reportedly suspended from taking part in the by-election campaign for three
01:07days, while Pas Central Committee member Anwar Musa said there was no need for the party
01:13to apologise to DAP over the remark.
