IN this episode of Transformed we have not one, but TWO transformations. Best friends Candy and Charlotte have contrasting looks and today they are swapping styles. Candy describes her look as ‘Kawaii doll’ - she loves pastel colours and cute accessories while Charlotte describes her style as ‘neon goth’ and includes lots of black and green elements. Charlotte said: “I think we’re so used to seeing each other the way we’re currently dressed it would just be interesting to see how we would look in opposite styles.” They have picked outfits, wigs and accessories for one another and will be doing each other’s makeup. How will this double transformation go? How will they react when they see each other and themselves? Will you be able to tell them apart?

00:00I'm Candy and I'm Charlotte and today we're swapping looks. I would describe my
00:06style as very cute, kawaii and inspired by anime and Japanese fashion. I would
00:11describe my style as like goth and punk and neon. My best friend is transforming
00:16me into a neon goth and she is turning me into a kawaii doll. I can't wait to
00:26see what Candy looks like. Oh my god, that is so scary. We're revealing to my boyfriend. To be honest when you walked in Charlotte I didn't know it was you. Have they swapped her? I can't. This is like the trippiest thing.
00:46We attract a lot of attention. I'm Candy and I'm Charlotte so I would always see
00:53Charlotte at like the club or a house party or walking around the mall and I
00:58just thought that's someone I want to be friends with. Then one day I messaged her
01:02and I was like why don't we be friends and she was like I know right and it just came
01:06together like that. I would describe my style as very cute, kawaii and inspired by
01:13anime and Japanese fashion. I would describe my style as like goth and punk
01:18and neon. I would describe our looks as being pretty opposite to each other but
01:24I think the contrast is really cool and we kind of match even though we're
01:27completely separate. Dressing this way makes me feel more like myself. It just
01:32makes me feel more confident and comfortable in my own skin. I think I'm
01:36quite silly and cute and that's literally my style so it's like a
01:41complete reflection of who I am. We actually have considered swapping
01:45styles before. I think we're so used to seeing each other the way we're
01:50currently dressed it would just be interesting to see how we would look in
01:56opposite styles. My best friend is transforming me into a neon goth and
02:01she is turning me into a kawaii doll. So for Candy's outfit I've gone for
02:09something that's quite warm and cozy but also still very much my style. I'm gonna
02:14go and get her and see what she thinks. That's so green. I love the ears. It's cute though.
02:22Seeing myself with like dark hair is gonna be interesting for me.
02:28Well wait until you see the outfit I've chosen for you. Oh my god. That is very pink.
02:37Oh wow. So I went for a very cute cozy look. I think I'm gonna be shocked to see
02:43what I look like. This is the total opposite to anything that I would choose
02:48for myself. I'm nervous about getting the makeup to look correct on Candy's face.
02:55She's got a different face shape to me. I'm not used to doing makeup on other
02:59people so I'm hoping that it just looks tidy when I'm done. I'm nervous about
03:06doing the makeup. I've never done makeup on another person so we'll see.
03:12Okay so we've taken all our makeup off. Ready to have it put back on. I'm gonna go and put some
03:20contact lenses in that Candy has supplied for me so I'll be right back.
03:25I enjoy that Candy uses a lot is the contact lenses. I think that they really
03:30add something to the look whether that's to make you look even cuter or to give
03:35it kind of a creepy edge. So I always start with eyebrows. Okay we'll do
03:41eyebrows first. You have to remember that they're sisters not twins. Let's pray that
03:45these are at least cousins. Right I'm not sure if I'd let anyone else do my makeup
03:54to be honest. I think although we have vastly different styles I think Candy and I
04:00both appreciate that there's an element to the alternative fashion that you know
04:04you need to have some kind of basic understanding I think. And we're
04:07comfortable with each other. Yeah absolutely. I don't like that. Is that because I feel like it's not actually going on your face.
04:15You're very pretty Blue. Your makeup is always so much neater and more perfect
04:21than mine so. Don't say that until you've seen what I've done to your face.
04:28I line my lips with eyeshadow. I literally just use different makeup for
04:32things that they're not intended for. And then gloss. Oh gloss. Do I go as big as I possibly can because these are huge. I mean considering how badly it could have gone I think we've
04:51probably done all right. Yeah I like how it came out. Now we can finish each other's looks and get changed into our outfits.
04:58Well I'm very excited to see Charlotte in pink. I can't wait to see what Candy looks like.
05:05Oh my god. That is so scary. I can't. This is like the trippiest thing ever. It's like a freaky Friday thing. What the hell.
05:26I think I'm going to like Candy. Yeah. By your reaction I think I'll look like Candy. Yeah for sure.
05:40It's so pink. I look so mean. It's literally your like stainless angry lip shape as well.
05:48It's literally our faces are on each other. The most surprising thing is that Candy's taller than me now. She's wearing the boots. I'm used to like looking up to you. Yeah and now I'm looking up to you. It's so weird. It's bizarre.
06:02When I came around the corner I was like where is she? Because I'm looking at you thinking like oh my god you look so cute and like I love this but not on me so it's kind of giving me like an appreciation for how you dress and an appreciation for how I dress.
06:15We're revealing to my boyfriend. I think he'll be shocked but I think he's going to love it. Feels like we're playing a prank on him. I know. But I'm excited. I mean after hearing the giggling I think it's going to be pretty good.
06:29Wow that's cool. You actually look like each other. The makeup is so uncanny. It's like you are each other. That's insane. You look really good in pink and actually you do look great. Both done really well. To be honest when you walked in Charlotte I didn't know it was you. No have they swapped at all?
06:59It's very nice to see them in swap styles because they're breaking free from their norm and potentially adding to their repertoire of fashion which is really cool but at the end of the day it's all down to them.
07:14I like how I look at the moment but it's definitely Candy's look and not mine. Yeah I feel the same. I love this but on you not me. Yeah absolutely. And I'm looking at you and I'm like missing things. Yeah absolutely. I want my outfit back. I miss looking mean. I look too sweet at the moment.
07:34I think I've learnt that I can do makeup on other people. It's not amazing but it's way better than I thought it would be. I was going to say the same thing with a bit of practice. I think we could definitely come a long way with that. Yeah and also that we do suit other styles as well. Yeah absolutely. We can't just pigeon hole ourselves in one thing.
