00:00Good to get the WNBA and get these players back going.
00:05I guess we could pivot to that and I would ask you, do you think that their play in the
00:10Olympics will affect anything we see moving forward?
00:12Less playing time?
00:13Anything like bettable or anything like that?
00:15Any clue?
00:16Yeah, I think early on you're going to start to see a little bit of sluggish play, you
00:21know, because, you know, coming off of the Olympic Games, you're going to have some fatigue
00:24for some of the star players, but then you're also going to have that, you know, basketball
00:28shape is very different than, you know, working out in the gym.
00:31You need to be playing basketball to stay in sort of basketball rhythm.
00:34So I feel like the first couple of games for each team is going to be sloppy.
00:38Who's less sloppy is going to be, you know, a team that takes advantage and gains a couple
00:43positions in the standings that are very close right now.
00:45And, you know, New York, credits to them, their head and shoulders above everybody else
00:49and they took care of business for the first 25 games of the regular season.
00:53And I think that's going to only help them with that little bit of cushion just in case
00:57they stub their toe coming out the gates here in the second half of the year.
00:59So knowing that Sabrina was on the team, knowing that Brianna Stewart was on a team, both of
01:04them playing major minutes and having to come back to their club squads and stay in that
01:09rhythm and not worry about, you know, getting tired legs and being overseas and having to
01:14travel back.
01:15I'm sure they partied.
01:16You know, I wouldn't put it past them for partying and winning the gold medal.
01:19I would.
01:20So that's going to have to get out of their system and then get back to business.
01:23It's tough, right?
01:24They're all human.
01:25They are elite athletes, but there is a tough sort of hangover, championship hangover that
01:29they're going to have to go through as we start the second half of the year.
