Choco Mucho Opens Second Round With A Win
The Choco Mucho Flying Titans flaunt their sturdy wings after outlasting the Chery Tiggo Crossovers via a five-set affair, 25-16, 25-11, 23-25, 19-25, 15-12, in the second round of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Tuesday, August 13.
Me-An Mendrez understood her assignment and justified the minutes that coach Dante Alinsunurin entrusted to her after leading the Flying Titans with 18 points on 14 attacks, 2 blocks, and 2 aces.
As a first time starter for the team, Mendrez said that she wants to contribute more for her squad.
“It is a big thing for me to have the trust of our coaches, and of course of my teammates who are there for me behind my back,” she said.
