Uzma forms partnerships to advance geospatial industry

Uzma Bhd has inked agreements with several key partners to further advance Malaysia’s geospatial industry on Tuesday (Aug 13).

The signings came ahead of the launch of UzmaSAT-1, a state-of-the-art Earth Observation (EO) satellite developed through a collaboration between Uzma and Satellogic, a company specialising in Earth-observation satellites.

01:43UzmaSat-1, which is set to be launched in Florida, USA, in early November, will join
01:4848 other satellites in space.
01:51This makes it a high-resolution satellite functioning as an Earth monitor, succeeding
01:56RazakSat which was owned by the Malaysian government for the past 12 years.
