00:51Mohamed Yusof nodded and said he understood the charge after it was read out before Magistrate
00:56M S Arunjoti.
00:58No plea was taken from the accused as the trafficking offence is under the jurisdiction
01:02of the High Court.
01:04The court fixed November 12 for mention.
01:07Mohamed Yusof was remanded by the police last Friday over alleged possession of weapons
01:12and drugs.

01:19a bail application.
01:21For the general public and the Malaysian people, there is no guarantee for any indictment of
01:27Section 39B.
01:33However, we feel there are reasons for Yusof Rauta to make a plea to the High Court of
01:44Kuala Lumpur for the guarantee.
01:46It is important for the National Police Department, if possible, with full authority, not to reject
01:56any plea for guarantee.
01:58Second, his safety is paramount.
02:06Because of the cases he is carrying.
02:09Everyone knows about the case.
02:12The possession of firearms is still under investigation by the police.
02:18In July 2021, Yusof filed a suit against Anwar, claiming that the then opposition leader had
02:25sexually assaulted him.
02:27He had sought, among others, special, general, aggravated and exemplary damages, as well
02:32as interest, costs and other relief deem fit by the court.
02:37Anwar, in his Statement of Defence filed on September 28, 2021, claimed Yusof had lied
02:45under oath to the authorities regarding the sexual assault.
