00:01:44Tony Schiavone, Larry Zabisco, we have two hours of some of the greatest

00:01:49wrestling action you'll find.

00:01:52Rey Mysterio Jr. and Super Calo will open up the program.

00:01:56Ladies and gentlemen, in this program, we are going to have Randy Anderson,

00:02:02Pee Wee Anderson, former referee, fight for his job,

00:02:07going up against Nick Patrick.

00:02:09Also in this program, Kevin Sullivan, the Taskmaster, Eddie Guerrero,

00:02:14and Conan will be here.

00:02:16We're gonna see the giant in a handicap match, and we are going to go live,

00:02:20as you understand, to Alcatraz, as Roddy, Roddy Piper is there.

00:02:26Now less than a week away from this Sunday's Super Brawl 7.

00:02:30You know, and it worries me, Tony, like you said, time is running out.

00:02:34I think Roddy Piper went off the deep end.

00:02:36This man has locked himself in Alcatraz and is training in Alcatraz.

00:02:42Who's he training with, the ghost of Al Capone?

00:02:45He is preparing, I guess, Larry, for Super Brawl 7, and you're right.

00:02:51Piper has flipped.

00:02:53He has been pushed over the edge by Hulk Hogan, and it's obviously,

00:02:57as Rey Mysterio Jr. executes a drop kick in the back of the head of Super Calo.

00:03:02It's the cause of what Hulk Hogan did to his young son, Colt,

00:03:07how he embarrassed him in front of his father, and

00:03:10how he really embarrassed his father as well.

00:03:12It was almost a mental beating in front of a very impressionable young boy.

00:03:16I mean, this is something that kids wind up in psychotherapy over.

00:03:20I can see Piper flipping out, but

00:03:21if you don't maintain control of your senses, the new world order will get to you.

00:03:27And look at this, Calo got to Rey Mysterio Jr.

00:03:31You know, I think Dean Malenko is the best Cruiserweight, but

00:03:35Rey Mysterio Jr. seems to be the most popular and beloved Cruiserweight.

00:03:40I don't think there's any question that Mysterio will have a chance at Super

00:03:43Brawl 7 to get the TV title away from Lord Steven Riggle in a no time limit match.

00:03:49Look at the balance of this Rey Mysterio Jr.

00:03:52at Super Calo, crashing the head to the apron.

00:03:56Fence, look at that maneuver,

00:03:58a missile drop kick from Super Calo from the ring out to the floor.

00:04:02Yeah, that was point blank.

00:04:04He caught him dead solid, perfect.

00:04:06And again, every match Rey Mysterio Jr.'s in, he gives up a lot of weight and size.

00:04:12Bam, he hit the railing.

00:04:14He sure did, that's why they are called high risk maneuvers.

00:04:18Fans, as you know by joining our programs this past weekend on WCW Saturday night

00:04:23and the WCW pro program on TBS, the Steiner brothers wrestled on Saturday night and

00:04:29were injured in an automobile accident as they left the arena.

00:04:33We do understand, although we do not know the extent of the injuries,

00:04:36they will not be able to compete in Super Brawl 7 in that four corner tag match.

00:04:40It's a two count, but we also understand, and this is from other sources,

00:04:46that the NWO, namely Holland Nash,

00:04:48maybe have been involved in that accident involving the Steiners.

00:04:53Now, let's see what we have here.

00:04:55Okay, we understand, we do understand.

00:04:59We've been told that was Big Bubba, who went down.

00:05:03And Bubba now is being taken into an ambulance.

00:05:06And apparently, the only thing I can say is that I don't think someone can get

00:05:12that hurt from just slipping up there like someone came up from behind.

00:05:16I would think Larry took him out.

00:05:18Well, again, speculation is not proof positive.

00:05:22But obviously, this guy did not step on a banana peel.

00:05:25Something happened to Bubba, and I don't know what it is, Tony.

00:05:28Mr. Wallstreet is in the ambulance with him.

00:05:30And so Big Bubba, who was making his way in here,

00:05:34is now being carried away to a local hospital here in the Tampa Bay area.

00:05:39Well, at least Wallstreet's got enough money to cover the medical.

00:05:42I think the whole group does, as a matter of fact.

00:05:44So there they go, and we will keep you abreast of this story.

00:05:48I tell you, it's gonna be hard to get a story, because if you know the NWO like

00:05:51we do, they're gonna lie about it or say something else happened that really did.

00:05:56And here comes Super Calo pulling on the arm of Rey Mysterio.

00:05:59It's amazing, they're blatant liars following in the footsteps of their leader,

00:06:03Hulk Hogan.

00:06:05But here, Mysterio Jr., this guy's getting behind on points.

00:06:26is this Sunday from the Cal Palace in San Francisco.

00:06:30That event is sold out, there are no more tickets available.

00:06:33The only way you can see Piper Hogan for

00:06:35the world title is to join us exclusively on pay per view.

00:06:41What an event it will be, Piper will be going to him.

00:09:00We are in our number one, and still to come in this telecast,

00:09:04we are going to send it to Alcatraz, the rock,

00:09:08the most famous prison in the history of, I guess, the history of the United States.

00:09:14Maybe the history of the world in many ways.

00:09:16I don't know, it might come on close second to Devil's Island, but

00:09:20Alcatraz was definitely some place you did not wanna spend time.

00:09:25And Rowdy Roddy Piper is there, knowing the state of mind.

00:09:30Where else, Larry?

00:09:31I guess, would you think Rowdy Roddy Piper would be?

00:09:35But as Hugh Morris of the Dungeon of Doom makes his way in,

00:09:38we await the arrival of Steve Mongo McMichael.

00:09:40I wonder, and I've wondered about this, Piper in his preparation,

00:09:46in getting ready for this big match.

00:09:49For most people, you wanna be focused.

00:09:51You wanna concentrate on being or becoming the World Heavyweight Champion.

00:09:56But Piper is a different individual, a different personality.

00:10:01This may be the best for him to be this nutso.

00:10:04Well, it could be, and again, remember when Superman needed to focus,

00:10:08he went to the Fortress of Solitude, and one other place to block out

00:10:13the entire world, and all the questions, and all the pressures,

00:10:18and the weight on your shoulders from the fans and family.

00:10:22Maybe it's good to lock yourself away in Alcatraz, and

00:10:25that way you'll have nothing to think about, except the upcoming match against

00:10:29Hogan, cuz Piper must retain the Holy Grail,

00:10:33Tony, to crumble the New World Order.

00:10:36Fans, if you just joined us, you know Super Brawl 7,

00:10:39we do have a change in the card.

00:10:41The Steiners now are not part of that four-quarter tag match.

00:10:44It's now a triangle tag match.

00:10:47The Steiners injured in an automobile accident when they left the arena this

00:10:50past Saturday, and of course, we can't say for sure, but I have it on good reports

00:10:56that the NWO, namely Hall and Nash, were involved in that accident involving

00:11:01the Steiners.

00:11:02Right now, we don't know the details, we don't know the extent of the injuries,

00:11:06except that the Steiners will not be able to compete.

00:11:09It certainly smells like foul play to me in the stench of the New World Order.

00:11:15It definitely abounds when you talk about the Steiners' situation.

00:11:18Well, that accident and that situation is currently under investigation, and

00:11:22we hope to have more on that.

00:11:23I don't know if we're gonna have it later in this program, or

00:11:26more on it maybe this weekend on our television programs.

00:11:29But that's the way it stands right now.

00:11:31You are looking at two of the most powerful men in the sport,

00:11:34former All-Pro Steve Mongo McMichael, and of course,

00:11:38King of the Horse of the Dungeon of Doom.

00:11:40Not many men can send a 300 pounder down with that running lariat, but

00:11:44Steve McMichael can.

00:11:45Out of the three pound stance, he clipped him down that time.

00:11:48Yeah, one high and one low, Hugh Morris, big man with great balance.

00:11:52But look, look at Mongo go, this guy's explosive.

00:11:56He seems more intense and more in focus than ever before.

00:12:00Yeah, but he's still got a lack of experience.

00:12:02He's still, he's wasted time right here, Tony.

00:12:04Sometimes athletic ability can, well, you're right.

00:12:07He wasted time talking to his wife there, and.

00:12:11That brings up an interesting point, as he seems more focused than ever before.

00:12:16This coming Sunday, he has to face Jeff Jarrett.

00:12:18And then, of course, if Jarrett wins the match,

00:12:21Jarrett will become a member of the Horsemen.

00:12:23And I know if Debra would have her way, Jeff Jarrett will be a Horseman right now.

00:14:08Kevin Sullivan, when you think about the appearance now of Miss Jacqueline,

00:14:12who we found out a week ago on this television program,

00:14:15is more than just a beautiful woman.

00:14:17She is tough as they come as well.

00:19:17Yeah, in my opinion, the number one cruiserweight

00:19:19in the world, Rey Mysterio Jr.

00:19:22Again, maybe the most popular in the hearts of the fans,

00:19:25but in my book, Dean Malenko is the number one.

00:19:28Uh-oh, yeah, and he's got something to say.

00:19:30I want to leave you with a little message.

00:19:34I know and you know

00:19:36that about ten minutes up the road from this arena

00:19:39is where my father took you under his wing

00:19:42and for two years prepared you

00:19:44for a career in professional wrestling.

00:19:47Well, six in six days at Super Bowl,

00:19:52you're gonna continue your lessons,

00:19:54but this lesson is gonna be from Dean Malenko,

00:19:57and that's a lesson you don't miss

00:20:00with other people's property.

00:20:02Dean Malenko making this battle with six

00:20:06for the Cruiserweight Championship

00:20:07more than just a championship match,

00:20:09something very personal,

00:20:10and he talked about his father,

00:20:12the great Boris Malenko,

00:20:14who trained professional wrestlers,

00:20:16young man trying to get into the sport.

00:20:18One of the men he trained years ago

00:20:20is a man known as Six,

00:20:22who became a fine pro wrestler,

00:20:24but has maybe lost some of that scope

00:20:27or some of the focus because,

00:20:29as Dean Malenko told us this past Saturday,

00:20:31one lesson he probably forgot

00:20:34or wasn't there for from his father

00:20:36was a lesson in respect.

00:20:38Well, Dean Malenko can teach you a lesson

00:20:40you won't forget, and again,

00:20:42Six is a soulless man, Tony.

00:20:45He sold his soul,

00:20:46and all he is is another one of the robotized sheep

00:20:49of the new world order.

00:20:51Malenko, definitely in my book,

00:20:53number one Cruiserweight,

00:20:54is gonna teach Six a lesson.

00:20:56You know, when you see Dean Malenko

00:20:58and you hear what he says about his father

00:21:00who passed away a number of years ago

00:21:02and was such a force

00:21:04and such a respected man in the sport,

00:21:06riding the knee now,

00:21:07down to the arm of Robbie Brooks.

00:21:09Then you see, right before the break,

00:21:11the portions of the last few weeks

00:21:14and the videos with Rowdy Roddy Piper

00:21:16and his young son Cold out here,

00:21:18and you see and you think about

00:21:20the wrestlers that we have,

00:21:22that they're human beings

00:21:23and they have feelings

00:21:24and they have families

00:21:25and they have all different backgrounds,

00:21:27but they all realize their roots,

00:21:30the men who are in WCW like Dean Malenko

00:21:32and the great wrestler like Rowdy Roddy Piper,

00:21:34although he never said he was a part of WCW,

00:21:37even though he could become the champ,

00:21:40has a family that he loves and cherishes.

00:21:42Here's a, well, only a one count that time.

00:21:45And realizes,

00:21:46good maneuver that time from Brookside.

00:21:48Yeah, Brookside knows a few holds here.

00:21:50Couldn't keep it on Dean.

00:21:52Dean, master of the mat techniques.

00:21:54You know, and like you said,

00:21:55everybody's got their own buttons to push, Tony.

00:21:57Personally, if I had six kids,

00:22:00I'd put them in Alcatraz.

00:22:01But Piper, after 20 years on the road,

00:22:04when you're never home,

00:22:05it means so much more to you

00:22:07than someone who's home all the time

00:22:08and people with an ordinary job, if you will,

00:22:11can't understand what it's like to have a home

00:22:15when you've spent half your life

00:22:17never having a home.

00:22:18I realize that,

00:22:19but Piper realized that his importance,

00:22:21his focus in his life right now

00:22:23was his family at two count.

00:22:25His family was more important,

00:22:27but that all changed

00:22:28when Hulk Hogan embarrassed him

00:22:30in front of his son, Golden.

00:22:31It changed the man.

00:22:32The rowdy, rowdy Piper

00:22:33that walked into the ring in Memphis

00:22:35and told Hulk Hogan,

00:22:37please, not now.

00:22:39We want to end this right now.

00:22:41And the rowdy, rowdy Piper

00:22:42we saw last week, Larry,

00:22:43were two entirely different men.

00:22:45Yeah, well, the rowdy Piper that first showed up

00:22:48obviously was the professional.

00:22:50He had one more thing to prove.

00:22:52The Piper of recent,

00:22:54it hit him personally, Tony.

00:22:56And when you hit a man personally,

00:22:58all the rules go out the window.

00:23:01I don't know what Piper's doing in Alcatraz.

00:23:03Maybe we'll find out,

00:23:04but it's definitely gonna be directly

00:23:06against Hulk Hogan.

00:23:07And Malenko made this look easy.

00:23:10He really did.

00:23:11He put the Texas cloverleaf

00:23:12on Brookside that time.
