00:00Today, Tyreek Hill, he did his Tyreek Hill thing, which is he likes to troll.
00:08And so yesterday, uh, doing an interview with, uh, up in Adams, K Adams.
00:14And, uh, Noah Lyles has been, uh, making a lot of headlines lately.
00:20And, uh, professional athletes do not like him because he has besmirched
00:25the name of world champion.
00:27Here's what he does.
00:29Okay.
00:31A lot of times people look at track stars and say, why couldn't you play
00:37another sport or because you don't want to get hit or whatever.
00:40And a lot of times they'll then flip the script and try to minimalize what
00:47other athletes are doing and make what they're doing that much more difficult.
00:52We've had the same conversations with baseball players.
00:54Me and Kenny Lofton used to go at it all the time, because I'm like,
00:59because I'm like, Ooh, him get a boob on his pinky out for two days.
01:04Right.
01:05And what would he say to you?
01:06No, he says you only play once a week.
01:08I'm like, what's a week.
01:11I'm like, do you see me?
01:13I'm like, it's off season.
01:14I got not still on my body from the season.
01:17Yeah.
01:19What'd you do?
01:20Get the only, the only equivalent to that is like, what?
01:22To get a fastball up the head.
01:23Right.
01:24So now me and him could go at it.
01:27Cause he was also a point guard in final four.
01:30So he played two sports.
01:32So it's a little bit different.
01:33It's pretty crazy that Kenny Lofton jr.
01:35Is not his son.
01:38That happened to me with the Canes recruit, the running back, Chris Johnson, Jr.
01:42I was like, we got Chris Johnson's son.
01:43He's going to be amazing.
01:46Oh, I think that's the same name, dude.
01:48They're both Johnson is like, Oh, there's a million.
01:53So, so I get it point.
01:57Is this right?
02:00It's almost like a step up to say I ran track and now I play football.
02:06And a lot of sprinters know that.
02:09And they try to diminish taking that next step as if, Oh, you went and
02:16played football because that football speed is different than this speed.
02:20Right.
02:21And Tyreek is like, hold on player.
02:23Hold on.
02:24And this is where, which I love it.
02:26Because listen, Tyreek can go do it when no allows can do no allows.
02:32Can't go do what Tyreek is doing.
02:34And so that used to be a thing with you.
02:37With Usain Bolt, people used to be like, Oh, could you put a Usain
02:40bolt on a football team and make him no and make him a football player.
02:46I can't tell you how many times I created him in Madden.
02:48Oh, just so many times.
02:49Can I just, can I just tell you, and this is very important that
02:55everybody should notice in sports.
02:58Right.
02:59We have all these people in football that, that take these
03:04measurables and try to determine how good a player is.
03:08Right.
03:09But the most important thing about all of it is how you can use those
03:14talents on a football field.
03:16Like people, when you say Tyreek Hill, Tyreek Hill is fast.
03:21That's what everybody says.
03:22He is so fast.
03:23He's the best guy in the NFL.
03:25To me as a football player, the thing that separates Tyreek Hill from every
03:32other play in NFL is his ability to stop and then go to that speed.
03:38So using your, how do you use, there's a lot of fast guys that play football
03:42that sit in their ass at home because they don't know how to use that speed.
03:47But Tyreek Hill is so stark change of direction, all these things that make
03:52that speed that much more dynamic.
03:55So when you say, Oh, this guy's a burner.
03:59I always kind of say, okay, whatever.
04:02Here was a Tyreek Hill.
04:03This was on up in Adams.
04:05Sprinter Noah Lyles.
04:07He said that Superbowl champs should not consider themselves world champions.
04:11What do you think of that?
04:12Noah Lyles can't say nothing after what just happened to him.
04:16You know what I'm saying?
04:16Didn't he want to come out and pretend like he's sick?
04:20I feel like that's, that's like horseradish.
04:22So for him to like do that and say that we're not world champions of, of like
04:28our sport says, uh, like, come on, bro.
04:31Like just speak on what you know about, you know what I'm saying?
04:33And that's track.
04:34Would you like to race him when he gets home?
04:36I will beat Noah Lyles.
04:37You think so?
04:37I'll beat Noah Lyles.
04:39Like by a lot.
04:40No, I won't beat him by a lot, but I will beat Noah Lyles.
04:42I'd like to see that happen.
04:43And guess what?
04:44When I beat him, I'm going to put on a COVID mask and let him know
04:47why I mean business because I do mean business.
04:50But, but that's it.
04:51See, see, here's the thing.
04:53So great.
04:54Here's the thing.
04:55There's a difference.
04:58And like, when you think of football and basketball players, right?
05:04The competitiveness in those two sports is more hand to hand.
05:11Like you talking trash and dealing with somebody right across from you.
05:15So you are extremely competitive.
05:18It's a little bit different in baseball.
05:20And it's a little bit different in track.
05:23Right.
05:24But that being said, I don't underestimate Tyreek Hill
05:30beating him.
05:31Yeah.
05:31I would not simply because I only just got to make it a 200 meter race, but,
05:37but that's just it.
05:38Like a track person would say something like you didn't beat me at my best sport.
05:45A football player would say, but I beat your ass.
05:48Right.
05:48Cause he's competitive.
05:50And so I would love to see it just for all the trash talk because
05:55Norlaus thinks he can talk in trash.
05:59That ain't trash talk.
06:01Tyreek knows how to talk trash.
06:02Tyreek Hill.
06:03And I think it's best put by Jalen Waddle on Twitter.
06:06He says he's a menace.
06:07Like he will, even if he doesn't believe it, he's going to say it just to stir it
06:10up.
06:11Right.
06:11But because, because here there are certain athletes that, and I believe this
06:16too, that there were times where I had no business succeeding and a situation
06:24that I had success in no reason, but I was so competitive that I just found a
06:30way to get it done.
06:31That's kind of where Tyreek is, right?
06:34When he was banged up, when he was hurt, you didn't know how hurt he was, he was,
06:39but you could kind of see it, but he just felt that, Hey, I'm, I'm just so
06:44competitive.
06:45I'm gonna find a way through.
06:46My favorite thing with the Tyreek Hill is when he's playing and then all of a
06:49sudden, like he leaves to go get the IV and then he comes back and he's like,
06:52Superman, right?
06:54Like it's, it's, it's, it's amazing.
06:56It's amazing.
06:57And that's, I think that's one of the things that I miss about, you know, uh,
07:04sports because there's another, there's no other arena that you can talk the type
07:10of trash that is taught there and then just go have drinks afterwards.
07:17Right.
07:18People are so offended.
07:19People, feelings get hurt.
07:21You know, people get sensitive and you know, just to not have that part of it
07:27anymore.
07:27That was the funnest part of it.
07:28I didn't talk trash, but I used to definitely give the stink out of somebody
07:32that talked trash to me after I say, Oh, I say, Oh, look, who's on their back.
07:37What happened?
07:38Who are you really?
07:40I remember one time.
07:40So guy hit, he came up to hit me and I just went right through him.
07:44And I didn't know, I didn't know he was hurt at the time, but I said, you really
07:49brought it that time, buddy.
07:52I'm just saying, because you know, before the game, when you on the midfield, they
07:57always go to the running back.
07:58Cause the running back don't say nothing.
08:00Right.
08:01All day, all day, you know, that's crowded, right?
08:06All day.
08:07Oh, Oh, we're going to be at this all day.
08:10And then you dump truck.
08:11I mean, he's just like, it wasn't all day.
08:13I said, no, we early dismissal.
08:16No, I'll go like, Hey, it's one 30.
08:19Are we done?
08:20Or we still, cause one 30, we still got a few more hours of today.
08:25Like you just like, yeah.
08:26So, but that was fun.
08:28Like I didn't, and if you saw the guy at the bar, we have a drink and it go,
08:33you know, the world doesn't like that.
08:35So I don't know if Noah allows can handle that because Tyreke will say
08:42something or do something.
08:44He simply seems like, I don't know much about Noah Lyles, but I definitely think
08:48of the things we've seen since the Olympics and his beef with professional
08:51athletes, he definitely seems to have something very much against the way.
08:57Yeah.
08:57Like if you're going to not show up, you're going to disparage the
09:02chance, the title of world champions.
09:04You're going to not show up to an Anthony Edwards shoe launch because
09:07you're insulted.
09:08They're even asking you.
09:09Here's the deal.
09:10Here's basically what Tyreke said.
09:12You ready?
09:13Yep.
09:17You ain't a world champion.
09:19You're in the world champion in one of your events, right?
09:22And if you, if they show you the finish of that race, you still can't tell who won.
09:27No, right.
09:29Don't come at me telling me I ain't a world champ when yo.
09:34The only person that could really say that is like Usain Bolt, right?
09:37Oh, I'm like, but he wouldn't say that.
09:44He said he was going to race somebody, but he didn't like, yeah, I just say
09:49Usain Bolt that was like killing people.
09:51Right.
09:51But that's what I'm saying.
09:52That's what I'm saying.
09:54You ain't that guy.
09:55It wasn't even an event when he was there.
09:56It was to go, you know what he did.
09:58Right.
09:58Do you know what he did?
10:00Like, so he would get a million dollar bonus every time
10:04he broke the world record.
10:06So he wouldn't quite run as fast.
10:10So every final he could break the record a little bit.
10:14And that's, that's how good.
