00:00Bamban Mayor Alice Guo is facing a new complaint after the BIR filed a tax evasion complaint to the Justice Department.

00:09Guo did not pay the buoys when he sold his share in Bawful Land Development.

00:19The new complaint of tax evasion was dismissed by Bamban Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo after the complaint was filed to the Bureau of Internal Revenue in the Department of Justice.

00:29For this, Guo did not pay the buoys when he sold his share in Bawful Land Development when he ran as Bamban Mayor in 2021.

00:39The BIR said that Guo did not pay the Capital Gains Tax and Documentary Stamp Tax.

00:46It's very clear that this transaction has a tax evasion case. The value of the shares that he sold is small, so the amount is P500,000.

00:59According to the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission of Paok, Guo sold 2.5 million shares in 2021 for P1 per share.

01:08The sale of shares is really low and it does not match the property ownership of Bawful Corporation.

01:19That is another aspect that we are looking at in our audit and investigation.

01:26In addition to the complaint, the shares were sold by Guo and the corporate secretary of Bawful Land.

01:32This is the second criminal complaint against Guo. He is also facing a Qualified Human Trafficking Complaint here in the Department of Justice,

01:40related to the raid on Zuniwan Technology in March this year.

01:44Aside from the Co-Waranto case and the cancellation of the birth certificate obtained by the Office of the Solicitor General and the material misrepresentation case in Comelec.

01:55Our cases are multidimensional, but definitely there is a narrative there that will have to come out in the end.

02:03So that's the job now of the law enforcement agencies to help us with the connections within so that the narrative can be completed.

02:13In a statement, the company of Guo said that they have not yet received a subpoena to respond to the complaint.

02:19If they receive it, they will receive an answer.
