00:00Good evening. It is going to be a bit of a fresher night for some southern areas
00:04but a very different story for the north and west as wet and windy weather is on
00:09the way for this evening spreading into parts of Northern Ireland and Western
00:12Scotland through the next few hours. Across the south and east though the
00:16rain we've seen today in the cloud should slowly clear away to the east
00:19leaving a dry and fine evening for many and night for many areas of England and
00:24Wales. But the closer we are to this weather front across western areas of
00:27Wales the southwest of England cloud will build by tomorrow morning. But under
00:32the clearer skies temperatures falling away a little lower than they have done
00:35lately closer to the mid-teens 11 or 12 degrees for some areas but as I said a
00:41very different story further north as that cloud and rain builds in
00:44temperatures will rise through the night so certainly a much milder night to come
00:48here than last night. And the rain is going to persist through much of the day
00:52for Northern Ireland parts of Western Scotland and Northwestern England. Could
00:56see some localised flooding due to this rainfall but it will sink so slowly south
01:00and eastwards through the day into parts of Wales central areas of England by the
01:04end of the afternoon. So it will turn a bit drier across the far north and west
01:07of Scotland and Northern Ireland by the end of the afternoon and it should stay
01:12dry through much of the day across southern areas of England. Though it is
01:15going to be a breezier day tomorrow compared to today temperatures still
01:19rising towards the mid-twenties for some areas of the south and east a fresher
01:24feel further north and west where we do start to get into that slightly cooler
01:28air by the end of the day and this band of rain will sink into central areas of
01:33England in the south coast through Thursday night possibly lingering into
01:37Friday morning bringing a spell of wet weather first thing on Friday to the far
01:41south and east but elsewhere it will turn much drier and clearer by the start
01:46of Friday and with clear skies overnight temperatures will fall away more widely
01:51so back down to that fresher feel more widely another potentially milder night
01:55across the far south and east however. That brighter weather will become more
02:00widespread once this rain does clear away to the southeast there's a risk of
02:04some showers breaking out here and there through the morning but for most of us
02:07it's going to be a dry day on Friday sunny spells for many of us the best of
02:11the sunshine across eastern areas through the afternoon potentially a few
02:16showers across the far north and west of Scotland and with fairly brisk winds
02:20as well affecting the Western and Northern Isles temperatures here around
02:2415 or 14 degrees still though across the south feeling fairly warm in the
02:28sunshine 22 to 24 possibly 25 degrees on Friday. Now that fine weather will
02:35continue as we head into the weekend there's still low pressure not too far
02:38away from the north but much of the wet weather will be restricted to the far
02:42north of Scotland with higher pressure dominating for more southern areas
02:45bringing plenty of sunny spells and temperatures around average for the time
02:49of year but if you'd like any more details on that and any more details on
02:53today's a wet weather why don't check out our YouTube channel see you soon
02:56bye bye
