00:00Hello it's Martin Dempster the Scotsman Golf Correspondent here coming to you from Dundonald
00:08Links venue for the third year running of the ISPS Handa Women's Scottish Open and boy
00:18do we have a world class field here this week for the two million dollar tournament which
00:25is co-sanctioned by the LET and LPGA. Five of the world's top 10 are teeing up here as are 34
00:33Olympians led by the gold medalist in France at the weekend Lydia Cole. It really is a top class
00:43event as I say Dundonald staging this for the third year in a row has become a really nice
00:49home for this event and of course it precedes the AIG Women's Open which takes place at St Andrews
00:57next week. Lots of the players will have one eye on that but of course winning in Scotland
01:03in this event would certainly be a nice addition to any player's CV. We've got three Scots in the
01:11field led by our top-ranked women golfer Gemma Dryborough and Gemma she's been handed a dream
01:19draw in the opening two rounds. She'll be out with the aforementioned Lydia Cole and the defending
01:25champion French player Celine Boutier. They're out early tomorrow morning as is Kylie Henry
01:32who will hit the opening shot from the first tee just after 7am. The third Scot in the field is
01:40Laura Beveridge. She's secured an invitation along with Henry and both those players will be
01:46aiming to make the most of what is a huge opportunity. A lovely sunny day here on the
01:51Ayrshire coast as you can see behind me. It wasn't so good on Tuesday and unfortunately the weather
01:57forecast isn't great for Thursday's opening round when it's set to be wet for most of the day.
02:03However set to be fair thereafter and if anyone is thinking about coming along to this event I
02:11would certainly recommend it. As I say a world-class field, a great venue and we're set for four
02:18exciting days once again. To keep up to date with anything in the golf world log on to
