00:00Inspection sites have been set up in Quezon City, Valenzuela, Laguna, Batangas, and Cavite

00:17These closed vans are being set aside one by one to inspect the cargo.

00:21Aside from the documents such as the shipping permit and veterinary certificate,

00:26if there is a living pig, it will be inspected if it has symptoms of African Swine Fever.

00:32If the animals are fine but there is no shipping permit, that is back to origin.

00:40But even if the shipping permit is fine,

00:43but our quarantine officers can see that the pig is lethargic,

00:47secondly, if there are symptoms, it is in the hands of our quarantine officers.

00:56The animals can be condemned after being tested.

01:09We have an NMIS permit but there is no FDA transport permit.

01:20We are giving them 24 hours to produce the permit.

01:32to avoid the spread of diseases to the animals such as African Swine Fever.

01:37One of these was placed here in Laloma, Quezon City,

01:41which is considered the Lechon Capital of the Philippines.

01:45There are also inspection sites in Valenzuela, Laguna, Batangas, and Cavite.

01:50Next week, vaccination will start in Batangas.

01:54It is time for the 10,000 ASF vaccines that the government bought

01:58through the Emergency Procurement.
