Leeds reflects on school uniform
With back-to-school season on the way, how do you feel about school uniform rules? Many schools ask for certain brands/logos on every item, which can get expensive - should rules be relaxed to allow for shopping around to keep costs down?

00:23that every morning? I think it's wrong that parents have to splash out big
00:29money on expensive uniforms and unless the kids look after their uniform and
00:35they're able to pass it down or hand it over to the next generation of kids then
00:40yeah I think it's wrong that it's too expensive. The kids don't get to have any
00:44sort of self-expression with how they look. It forces families to probably
00:49every year buy new uniforms as their kids grow up and because of the
00:53necessity of them they tend to be quite expensive and so for poor families it's
00:57just money going down the drain for no good reason.
