Watch: Terang Mortlake's Sam Crawley after his 150th Hampden league game
Transcript
00:00Thanks for joining us Sam, a win in your 150th Hampton League game, how does it feel?
00:05It feels great, good to get the win and yeah, we needed that win so yeah it's real good.
00:11What does the club mean to you, you've been here all your life?
00:14It means everything, I've played here my whole life, all my mates are here, family, cousins and yeah it's just a really good place to play footy.
00:22And you're sort of the sort of player that coaches can just throw anywhere, do you have a preferred position on the ground?
00:27I normally just get a dangerous forward and just get given a role and just try and get that done every week.
00:34And today against Warrnambool, obviously a close finish, what did you think you guys did well to get over the line?
00:40I just thought we fought until the end, four quarters, our pressure was up and intensity and yeah I think that's what won us the game in the end.
00:49Anyone in particular impress you?
00:52Jacob Lightning, when he came in the back line in the second quarter he pretty much won every single one-on-one and I reckon he turned the game for us.
01:00Excellent, and your good mate Louis Taylor has come back this year to coach, you grew up playing together, what does it mean to play under him?
01:06We've been talking about playing with Louis ever since he's been in AFL and it's good that it's finally happened and yeah I just love every minute with him having been the coach.
01:16No worries, well thanks very much Sam.
