00:00For more on the current state of the 2024 election, let's bring in New Jersey Republican
00:08Congressman Jeff Van Drew, who serves on the House Judiciary Committee.
00:13It was Trump's election to lose when he was up against Joe Biden, but now that Kamala
00:19Harris is the presumptive Democratic nominee, Congressman, her numbers seem to have improved
00:25in a number of states, and she's getting a lot of favorable press coverage.
00:31Do you think that is going to change in the weeks ahead?
00:35Oh, it's going to change because what's going to happen here is when she gets her initial
00:41bump by going through the convention, which is going to be a Hollywood production bar
00:46none.
00:47I mean, it's just going to be how great she is, how different she is, how new she is,
00:51how exciting she is.
00:53But then it's our job as Republicans and, quite frankly, as Americans to really discuss
00:59her record.
01:00And this isn't even just being negative.
01:03It's simply that she is the face of the open borders.
01:06She is the face of the high interest rates.
01:10She is the face of the fact that our inflation has gone up or that we have all the problems
01:15we do with our foreign policy, whether it's in Israel and Gaza or whether it's what's
01:21happening in Ukraine or the disaster in Afghanistan.
01:24It was the Biden-Harris administration.
01:28She is part and parcel of it.
01:29Now, you know, mainstream media has given her a huge break.
01:33They're saying that she's something new and different.
01:35Whoa, wait a minute.
01:37She's got a record.
01:38Let's work on that record.
01:40Let's discuss her record and what she's done.
01:43And then let's really think about one more thing, John.
01:45Do we want her negotiating, expanding the nuclear capability of Iran?
01:52Do we want her determining our energy policy, which she already has said we should diminish
01:57our own domestic energy and even more?
01:59Do we want her allowing all illegals to vote and to become American citizens automatically?
02:07Because that's what she wants to do.
02:08And that's the only the beginning of it.
02:10So she's going to get a little up and then she's going to sink down.
02:13She trotted out her economic plan.
02:15I believe it was yesterday.
02:17A Harvard professor was on CNN earlier today panning it.
02:23Listen.
02:24I don't think corporate price gouging has all that much to do with that.
02:29She had a lot of proposals.
02:31This was one of them.
02:32I thought it was absolutely the weakest, but this isn't going to solve problems.
02:38We need to think about our deficit monetary policy.
02:41I mean, those may be boring and hard to understand, but I hope she walks this one back.
02:47She had some good ideas, some mixed ideas.
02:50This was a horrible idea.
02:53So he says it's a horrible idea.
02:56But the Atlantic, which is quite often favorable to Democrats, wrote this headline.
03:03Harris's plan is economically dumb, but politically smart.
03:07And it goes on to say the vice president's campaign promises make no sense to people
03:11acquainted with supply and demand, but they might win elections.
03:16What do you think about that, Congressman?
03:18Oh, it's everything that they're doing.
03:21Everything that they're about is to look at the shiny object over here.
03:25Don't look at her voting record.
03:27They're trying to make you look at different things.
03:30So what they say is, oh, it's the big bad store owners that are causing the inflation.
03:35No, it's not.
03:36It's the policies of her administration.
03:39They're trying to say if they freeze everything, if they freeze prices, that will cure the
03:43problem.
03:44Well, we know from socialist countries around the world that it doesn't, that it's awful
03:49because it's going to reduce supply.
03:52We're a supply and demand nation.
03:54We need good economic policies that are going to stimulate the economy, increase revenues,
04:00and we're going to do just fine.
04:02America does what it does because it has an economic engine.
04:05She is going contrary to that and she's actually doing what failed countries do around the
04:11world that are socialist or communist.
04:13But they are hoping that some folks are going to listen to that and say, oh, good, she's
04:18going to freeze prices.
04:19Oh, good.
04:20You know, it's a really good idea to blame the store owners because they're the bad people.
04:25I'm thinking that most Americans have gone through the last four years and they know
04:29that in order to buy a new home right now for themselves, they have to earn twice the
04:35income that they did only four years ago.
04:38They know what's happened.
04:39And when they don't know, it's our job.
04:42It's our job to let them know.
04:44So I hope that we're going to do and I know I don't hope I know we're going to do a real
04:47good job.
04:48And again, just speaking about her record and her failures, New Jersey Republican Congressman
04:56Jeff Van Drew, congressman.
04:59Thank you, John.
05:00Good to be with you.
05:01You too.
05:02President Biden is in Camp David right now while Vice President Harris rolls out her
05:07economic vision.
05:08But some economists worry she's focusing on the wrong issues.
05:12Lucas Tomlinson live at the White House with Lucas.
05:16That's right, John.
05:17When President Biden at Camp David, it's his vice president and presidential nominee Kamala
05:20Harris on the campaign trail speaking in North Carolina yesterday to roll out her new economic
05:25plan on price gouging, which she called price gauging.
05:31I will work to pass the first ever federal ban on price gauging on food.
05:38Prices are still too high.
05:41A lot.
05:42A loaf of bread cost 50 percent more today than it did before the pandemic.
05:48Ground beef is up almost 50 percent.
05:52So that's the vice president.
05:53They're admitting that prices are much higher now than they were under Donald Trump.
05:57And many economists say this price gouging and gauging doesn't work.
06:02Let me actually address the price gouging question as well.
06:07Although some of the proposals that Vice President Harris is offering, this is one of them that
06:13I think is sort of a loser out of the gate.
06:15Or so I mean, it is price controls historically have never been successful.
06:22And more criticism from Obama's former economic adviser writing, this is not sensible policy.
06:27And I think the biggest hope is that it ends up being a lot of rhetoric and not reality.
06:32There's no upside here.
06:33And there's some downside.
06:35And The Washington Post editorial board writing a scathing piece, of course, John, whose owner
06:39also owns Whole Foods, unfortunately, instead of delivering a substantial plan, she squandered
06:45the moment on populist gimmicks, later writing even adjusted for the pandering standards
06:49of campaign economics.
06:51However, Ms. Harris's speech Friday ranks as a disappointment.
06:55The Wall Street Journal editorial board also criticizing the plan, calling it Nixonian,
07:00says it resembles Venezuela and Soviet Russia as well.
07:04John, interesting that she trotted it out on a Friday, which is the day that Washington
07:08brings out news items that they want to sort of die over the weekend.
07:14Just a thought.
07:15We're keeping it alive this weekend.
07:16Yeah.
07:17Lucas Tomlinson doing a good job of it, too, at the White House.
07:20Coming up on The Fox Report, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has unveiled her economic
07:26plan ahead of her party's convention.
07:30Will it work?
07:33Presumptive Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz is busy today trying to sell Kamala
07:38Harris's economic plan that she laid out yesterday.
07:42Some critics, though, are pushing back against her idea of a federal ban on price gouging
07:46for groceries.
07:48It's something her party has to defend at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
07:53Brand new Fox News polling shows the economy is the top issue for voters.
07:58The party also will have to defend itself against protesters at next week's convention.
08:03Senior correspondent Mike Tobin is in Chicago.
08:06He has more for us live.
08:08Mike.
08:09And, John, with just days to go before Kamala Harris addresses the Democratic Convention
08:13here in Chicago, she has been on the road trying to sell her economic plan.
08:18She has used the phrase opportunity economy.
08:22She promised $25,000 to help first-time homebuyers make a down payment and promised to crack
08:26down on price gouging in the food industry.
08:31My plan will include new penalties for opportunistic companies that exploit crises and break the
08:39rules.
08:40And we will support smaller food businesses that are trying to play by the rules and get
08:46ahead.
08:49In anticipation of trouble surrounding the convention, business owners have been boarding
08:52up their stores and offices near the convention.
08:55Many of them say they were looted during the George Floyd riots, some by flash mobs.
08:59One business owner tells us city leadership is not giving him any confidence his store
09:03will be safe through the convention.
09:07Our customers and our customers' employers have told them to stay home for the entire
09:12week.
09:13So we felt since they were concerned about the safety of their people, we should be concerned
09:20about our safety.
09:24The largest protest group expected here is the Coalition to March on the DNC.
09:28They are an anti-Israel group opposed to U.S. funding of the Israeli defense forces.
09:33They promise their numbers will be in the tens of thousands protesting the convention
09:38here.
09:39Chicago police have undergone specialized training for crowd control.
09:42John?
09:44Sounds like it's going to be a mess.
09:45Mike Tobin reporting from Chicago.
09:47Mike, thanks.
09:50For more reaction to presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris' economic
09:54plan, let's bring in Antoine Seawright, founder and CEO of Blueprint Strategy LLC, also a
10:01Democratic strategist.
10:03She's taken a lot of heat for that plan she laid out, Antoine.
10:08What kind of a grade do you give her?
10:10Oh, I give it a grade A because the one thing she's doing is driving a policy conversation.
10:16Look, certainly no policy agenda is perfect, but this builds on the progress that Vice
10:22President Harris and President Biden made with the 16 million jobs created under this
10:27administration, the largest investment in our nation's infrastructure since Dwight
10:32Eisenhower, a record number of small business applicants.
10:36The progress that has been made, this builds upon that.
10:39It focuses more on the micro, and whereas in the administration there was a big focus
10:44on the macro.
10:45And quite frankly, this is what the American people really, really want, is to focus on
10:49the family unit.
10:50When you look at what it does for child care, it's certainly focused on cutting black child
10:54poverty in half with extending the child tax credit, by the way, the Republicans did not
10:59want to do in the United States Senate.
11:01And then it focuses on continuing to lower the prescription drug prices for every single
11:05American, building on lowering it for seniors as the Biden-Harris administration did.
11:10And then the housing piece.
11:11We all know that the access to the American dream is what every American citizen want.
11:15And this gives another access point to accomplishing that goal.
11:19Just one point.
11:20The 16 million jobs that were coming off of the pandemic, when so many jobs were lost
11:25or eliminated, that's not all those 16 million jobs aren't all because of Biden-Harris policies.
11:32Well, I think that's a misrepresentation of the facts or and respectfully.
11:38And what I would say about that is any administration that's created a record number of jobs like
11:42that 16 million jobs, if that were the Trump administration, we would not be able to rest
11:47or hear the end of it.
11:48At the end of the day, all of the economic policy, most majority of the economic policies
11:53Biden-Harris created, all Americans have benefited from it.
11:56That's why you saw a number of Republicans who may have voted no in Washington, D.C.,
12:02but went back home and took credit for the dough, including the investment in our nation's
12:06infrastructure.
12:07OK.
12:08Donald Trump, as you might imagine, is not particularly thrilled with the Harris economic
12:14plan.
12:15He was talking about it at his rally this evening in Wilkes-Barre.
12:18I want to play a snippet of that for you and get your reaction.
12:22Yesterday, Kamala laid out her so-called economic plan.
12:25She says she's going to lower the cost of food and housing starting on day one.
12:30But day one for Kamala was three and a half years ago.
12:36So why didn't she do it then?
12:40You want to take that one on, Antoine?
12:42I sure do.
12:43Look, the good news about this election that we're facing, the contrast could not be more
12:48clear.
12:49The fact of the matter is we have four years of receipts of the Trump administration and
12:53we have four years of receipts of the Biden-Harris administration, which Kamala Harris played
12:57a tremendous role in rebuilding the American economy in a bipartisan way.
13:02All you have to do is look at the historical numbers.
13:04If you look at the stock market, if you look at jobs created, you look at work, wages and
13:08wealth.
13:09And then if you look at this plan that she rolled out in North Carolina, by the way,
13:13in front of working people, not in front of a golf club, members-only club that most people
13:18cannot afford.
13:19I think that all by itself shows the difference in the contrast.
13:23And what most people cannot point to is a policy by President Trump or now candidate
13:28Trump that benefits the everyday American citizen, not necessarily the wealthy and well-connected
13:34that most of his agenda focused on while he was president.
13:38But what about his point that, you know, she's been in office three and a half years and
13:43she could have done some of these things at the beginning of the administration?
13:47Well, they certainly did.
13:48And that's why we have receipts to prove so.
13:50And in fact, and that's why so many economists and even Republicans quietly and sometimes
13:55out loud have given credit to Kamala Harris and President Biden and, quite frankly, the
14:00Democrats, what they did to roar back this American economy.
14:04Remember, inflation was a global issue.
14:07And quite frankly, the American economy is outpacing every other economy who also experienced
14:12inflation.
14:13And that is a direct result of the leadership of President Biden and Vice President Harris.
14:17And that's why I'm confident her economic agenda.
14:20And by the way, most people cannot point to former President Trump's economic agenda.
14:25Her economic agenda will go over well with the American people.
14:30Antoine Seawright.
14:31Antoine, thank you.
14:35New York City Mayor Eric Adams again coming out in favor of a mask ban in the Big Apple
14:40after a suburban county just east of New York City implemented one of its own this
14:44week aiming to target criminals and protesters who wear masks to hide their identities.
14:51CB Cotton live in New York City with the latest on that.
14:54CB.
14:55Hi.
14:56Good evening, John.
14:57Well, New York City Mayor Eric Adams made it really clear his views on a radio show
15:00this week, saying in part, quote, I think that we need to come up with the right solution
15:05to make sure that we stop the use of mask and illegal criminal violent behavior, because
15:11when you can't see someone's face, someone's eyes, it takes a long time to bring that person
15:16to justice.
15:18Adams says he thinks there should be exceptions for health reasons.
15:22And his remarks came just two days after a face mask ban went into effect in a suburban
15:27New York County.
15:28As you mentioned, John, the bill was signed into law on Wednesday by Nassau County Executive
15:33Bruce Blakeman and does provide exceptions for religious or medical reasons.
15:38People will not be arrested simply for wearing a mask, but they could be questioned by police.
15:44And if a person is found to be hiding their identity, they could be taken into custody
15:50and later face up to a year in jail and a thousand dollar fine.
15:56Why would we allow people with masks to harass people and engage in violent acts, whether
16:01it's graffiti, whether it's some kind of other act of of property damage or anything
16:08else?
16:10Opponents say the ban could unfairly target people, the NYCLU saying in part, quote, Such
16:17bans jeopardize New Yorkers health and safety, risk selective and racially biased enforcement
16:25and undermine protections for those engaging in peaceful demonstrations while expressing
16:30political opinions that may be unpopular.
16:33Now, back in June, New York Governor Kathy Hochul said she'd consider working with lawmakers
16:38on a face mask ban for the New York City subway with carve outs for health or religious
16:43reasons. Her remarks came after some mass protesters were captured taking part in this
16:48anti-Semitic chant on a New York City subway.
16:51Or he's download the Fox News app.
16:54You can scan the QR code on your screen or go to Fox News dot com slash apps.
17:00Well, former President Trump just wrapped up rallying voters in Battleground, Pennsylvania
17:05this evening. He hammered Vice President Harris new economic plan, saying she's already
17:11had a chance to tackle inflation as vice president.
17:14Joining us now, John Bussey, the Associated Associate Editor at The Wall Street Journal.
17:20One of the elements, pardon me, John, in her economic plan is a twenty five thousand
17:26dollar down payment for first time home buyers.
17:31Where does that money come from, John?
17:35Well, that's the question, isn't it?
17:38And I think that we're beginning just to see the outlines of economic policy from both
17:43candidates at this stage.
17:45It's very early in the game.
17:47We're getting just a few details from Harris, this idea of kind of kicking in some money
17:52for new homebuyers, expanding the child tax credit, having some kind of authority within
17:59the government to battle what she is describing as price gouging by companies that might
18:07have contributed to inflation over the last few years.
18:10And on the on the former president's side as well, Trump's side as well, we're seeing just
18:17the outlines of economic policy without any indication of where the money is going to
18:23come from. He wants to cut taxes.
18:25He wants to cut regulation.
18:27I think his argument would be, well, that will stimulate growth.
18:29But at the same time, he's talking about raising tariffs on goods that are imported into the
18:36United States. And we know what happens when that happens, which is that those prices that
18:41tariffs cause, the price increases get passed right along to consumers and that contributes
18:47to inflation. So we're seeing the outlines.
18:50We're not seeing the details of how these policies would be put into effect.
18:55And particularly, we're not seeing how they would be paid for.
18:59Not surprisingly, he went after her at that rally in Wilkes-Barre this evening.
19:04I want to play you a clip of that.
19:06Listen. In her speech yesterday, Kamala went full communist.
19:12You heard that she went full communist.
19:14She wants to destroy our country after causing catastrophic inflation.
19:20Comrade Kamala announced that she wants to institute socialist price controls.
19:26You saw that never worked before, never, ever worked.
19:28This is the Maduro plan.
19:31Venezuela, Maduro plan of like the old Soviet Union.
19:37This is they tried it. How did the Soviet Union work at it?
19:41Well, it wasn't just the Soviet Union.
19:43It was also Richard Nixon.
19:44He tried price controls in this country.
19:47A Republican president.
19:48Those didn't work very well either.
19:50John. Yeah, I don't know where the former president is getting this from.
19:57She's not talking about price controls.
19:59You know, these are the attacks on Kamala Harris that former President Trump has launched
20:07that kind of take him off of message.
20:09I mean, catastrophic this, disaster that, this kind of bleak carnage in America
20:15where things are actually pretty good in America, you know, at the at the moment,
20:19economically, and the data show it, you know, you know, communist Kamala, you know,
20:26describing her, you know, the Soviet Union sort of brought onto the shores of the United States.
20:32I don't know where that's coming from.
20:33And I think it probably appeals to some of his base, those who like a big show
20:39and kind of World Wrestling Federation type language.
20:43But it's it's takes him off message, which is, you know, he wants to be talking about his advisors,
20:52you know, advise him to be talking very aggressively about inflation.
20:56It is up 19 percent since Biden's administration started and her administration started as vice president.
21:06His advisors want him talking about that.
21:08And what is he going to do to continue to bring inflation down and to help consumers?
21:16You know, the times are also sort of moving away from and against former President Trump.
21:22Inflation is down.
21:24The economy is growing.
21:27Jobs are plentiful and they are increasing.
21:32The consumer is strong.
21:34He's got to find the message and stick to it.
21:37And these personal attacks on Kamala Harris, I don't know whether that's going to get him traction with with voters,
21:45particularly moderate Republican voters, that he needs to bring back into the fold very quickly.
21:50One bright spot, I suppose, for the Trump campaign is, according to a Fox News poll, 52 percent say they trust him to do a better job on the economy over the sitting vice president,
22:03who is, after all, going to be the Democrat nominee after this week.
22:08John Bussie, we have to say goodbye.
22:10John, good to talk to you. Thank you.
22:12Pleasure.
22:13So, as we mentioned, former President Donald Trump just wrapped up that campaign rally in the pivotal swing state of Pennsylvania as his opponent,
22:22Vice President Kamala Harris, unveils her economic plan just two days before the Democratic National Convention kicks off in Chicago.
22:30Alexis McAdams is at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre with more for us.
22:35Alexis.
22:35Hey, John.
22:38So it was about two hours that the former president was up on that stage behind me, just got off a few moments ago.
22:44What we were told from the campaign was the former president is going to talk about the economy.
22:48It was supposed to focus on that mainly because it was one of the things that just came out this week, right, when Kamala Harris unveiled her plan for the economy.
22:56But he talked about that.
22:58He talked about the border, but he also did put in some personal attacks, which people here weren't sure if he was going to do or not.
23:03He made fun of Kamala Harris for her policies, saying she's the most radical person who's ever run for office and even made fun of her laugh.
23:09But one of the main things, John, they tried to focus on for the voters is, hey, do you feel like you're better off now than you were four years ago?
23:15Watch. Bill Richer under Kamala Harris and is anything less expensive under Kamala Harris?
23:26She'll be easier than him.
23:28Her policies are so bad.
23:31Her policy. Remember, her father was a Marxist economic professor.
23:37He was a Marxist, an avowed Marxist.
23:39This is not what we want in this country.
23:44OK, so while Trump was on stage here in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, we just heard from Tim Walz, Kamala Harris's pick to be her running mate.
23:53He was in his home state of Nebraska trying to connect with voters there.
23:58John, he was trying to compare his stance and Kamala Harris's stance on the economy and just on everything overall to Trump, saying he does not stand for real Americans.
24:08Listen. Many of you can probably remember when Republicans talked about freedom, they meant it.
24:15They would have never turned their back on our allies.
24:21The traditional Republican Party before Donald Trump contributed much to this state and this great nation.
24:29But he's not back.
24:36So this wasn't the first time that Trump's recently been here in Pennsylvania, and it's a state that is so important as we get closer to the election.
24:43That's why Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are going to be in the area again tomorrow.
24:47John campaigning, they're launching a bus tour, really trying to connect with voters.
24:50But again, one of the main things people told me when I walked around out here in the arena, I asked him, do you want Trump to talk about policy or personal tax?
24:57They said, forget the personal tax.
24:58We don't want to hear about Kamala Harris.
25:00That's not really how things played out, but it was still an energetic rally, a huge crowd.
25:04And the former president, you know, walked off to some music and will be on his way to another rally, I'm sure.
25:09Soon, John. All right.
25:10Alexis McAdams covering the Trump campaign from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where he just finished that rally.
25:17Alexis, thank you. Still to come on The Fox Report, Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected back in Israel tomorrow, trying to help
25:26strike an elusive ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.
25:31Report from Tel Aviv next.
25:35No plants in the world.
25:37And you know who owns those order plants?
25:39They're built, they're made and being built in Mexico.
25:43You know who owns them?
25:44China owns them.
25:47China is very smart.
25:50I had a good relationship with President Xi when Covid came, that was the end of that relationship.
25:55But but I had a very good relationship.
25:57But we took in hundreds of billions of dollars from China.
26:00Think of it. Bush, Barack.
26:03Did you ever hear of Barack Hussein Obama?
26:05Have you heard of him?
26:10There are those that think he is currently running the country.
26:13Does anybody think? I don't know.
26:16I don't know that that's.
26:18We know it's not Biden.
26:21Every attack Kamala makes on us is a fabricated it's a lie.
26:27She's sort of a bad storyteller.
26:30She doesn't know how to tell a story very well, but she gets caught.
26:33She gets caught up in her own words.
26:36She's not a she's not a very good wordsmith.
26:38They say, I don't know, we're going to find out we're going to have a debate at some point.
26:41They gave me the worst network to me is ABC.
26:47Worse than NBC, worse than CBS, worse than CNN.
26:52The home of George Slopidopoulos.
26:56A nasty guy.
26:58I said, George, I've had you up to here, so
27:03there's a nasty guy.
27:04They hate it.
27:05And yet when he interviews Biden, like two weeks ago, he interviewed Biden.
27:09It was like the nicest interview.
27:11What flavor ice cream do you like?
27:13Georgia, I tend to like vanilla very much.
27:19With me, they get into a lot of subjects that a lot of people don't like talking about.
27:24But ABC is the worst.
27:26And that seems because they won't do it on Fox.
27:28They've turned down the Fox.
27:29You know, I have three. I've approved three debates.
27:33They've approved one.
27:34The only one they've approved is with their network.
27:37And now it came out in The New York Times, of all places, that the head of the news
27:42and the head of the whole thing practically is Kamala and her husband,
27:47lovely husband, best friend.
27:50Her and her husband are best friends with Kamala and her husband.
27:54And I'm supposed to do the debate.
27:57But, you know, with Biden, they thought I wouldn't do it.
28:00So they offered me something that I couldn't accept.
28:03They said the debate is at CNN in front of no audience so far.
28:09So so far, I'm 0 for 2.
28:13And see, they didn't want to do the debate.
28:15That would have been a good idea if they didn't do it.
28:17But I was going to accept anything.
28:20And I guess we'll do it here, too, right?
28:21We'll accept anything because otherwise she's not going to debate.
28:24She doesn't want to debate.
28:25But they said CNN and no audience.
28:28And we want to have you sit down.
28:30I objected to that.
28:31They wanted us sitting behind a desk.
28:32I said, give me a break.
28:33We have to at least stand for the American public.
28:36Wouldn't that be nice?
28:37So that was the only thing.
28:40And I would have done it if they insisted.
28:42No, I would have sat down if they insisted.
28:44But I thought it was sort of a little strange.
28:47But I had Dana Bash and I'd fake Tapper.
28:50But I have to tell you, they were very fair.
28:53I really thought they were very fair.
28:54So Jake and Dana, nobody knows how to say her first name.
29:00Is it Dana or Dana?
29:01Nobody knows.
29:03It's been going on for 20 years.
29:04She's been around a long time.
29:06Is it Dana or Dana?
29:09And now the fake news will say Trump didn't know how to pronounce her first name.
29:12She doesn't know how to put it.
29:15But look, but Dana and Jake, I used to call him fake Tapper.
29:24Now I call him Jake Tapper because he treated us very fairly.
29:27And so did Dana treat me very fairly.
29:30I think it was, you know, just about neutral.
29:34But he kept saying, you know, he gave very short answers
29:38because he wasn't really doing too well.
29:40And I kept saying, I'll take it.
29:42But what happened?
29:43Sir, you have 92 seconds left.
29:45This is not what he wanted to hear.
29:47Right, David?
29:48They said you have 92 seconds left.
29:50Going to be your next senator.
29:52I'll tell you, David.
