One of the traditional dish we have been making at gatherings from the past is "Alou Gheysi" stew. This stew is usually served at special occasions like weddings and is very popular in the north area's
Dried Apricots, along with Dried Plums and plenty of Onions, give a sweet taste to this stew, which becomes unforgettable when combined with Lamb or Veal.

Ingredients for five people:
700 gr Lamb or Veal
1 large Onion for Frying The Meat
100 gr Dried Apricots
100 gr Dried Yellow Prunes
100 gr Dried Plums
2 Medium-Sized Onions for The Sauce
3 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
4 Tablespoons Brew Saffron
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
Salt, Turmeric Powder, Black Pepper Powder, and Cinnamon Powder as needed...
