00:00Here's today's Derbyshire Times video bulletin.
00:02There was tragedy on Derbyshire Roads this weekend,
00:05as no fewer than five motorbikers died in two separate incidents just minutes apart.
00:11Police were called to reports of a collision on the A6 between Buxton and Dove Halls at around 10.18 yesterday.
00:17The collision, which occurred near Tom Thorne, involved two motorbikes and a car.
00:22Two motorcyclists were pronounced dead at the scene.
00:24Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, as well as anyone who may have dashcam footage.
00:30It was the second tragedy on Derbyshire Roads in a matter of minutes,
00:34as three people died following another multi-vehicle crash.
00:37Police were called to reports of a collision on the A53 Buxton to Leek Road,
00:41just outside Buxton, at around 9.45am yesterday.
00:45The collision involved three Ducati motorbikes, a van and a car.
00:49A Derbyshire Police statement said,
00:51Three motorcyclists, all men in their fifties, were pronounced dead at the scene.
00:55Their families are aware and our thoughts are with them.
00:58The driver of the van and two people from the car were also taken to hospital.
01:02Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
01:05We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage.
01:11New life-saving first aid equipment has been installed at the Derbyshire branch of McDonald's.
01:16Defibrillator equipment has been fitted to the restaurant at Markham Vale
01:19in partnership with the Tom Henson charity of Bollsover.
01:22One of the managers at the McDonald's outlet, Tia Cooper, said,
01:26It was provided by the Tom Henson charity in exchange for a small donation which I gave them.
01:30It's a charity close to my heart and very local to the community.

01:37whilst playing football with colleagues at Gosford's Field in Dromfield in 2018.
01:42The Sheffield United fan and keen gym-goer sadly suffered a cardiac arrest
01:46due to an undiagnosed congenital heart condition.
01:49The charity that was set up in his name helps to raise funds to spend on defibrillators
01:53to be installed across Bollsover and the surrounding area
01:56to give other people the best chance of survival.
