00:05:13Look at how tall this man is compared to Hollywood Hulk Hogan in the corner!

00:05:19And then when you get a little closer, look at this.

00:05:20You can even see a beard underneath the mask of the face or whatever that is.

00:05:25You know who I think it was?

00:05:27Well, I think we looked at the video earlier today

00:05:30and looked at that again.

00:05:31Who do you think it is?

00:05:34I think it's pretty apparent it was Kevin Nash.

00:05:55Alex Wright to begin things here in this first hour.

00:06:14the Nature Boy Ric Flair will go one on one

00:06:19against Jeff Jarrett.

00:06:20But before this match gets underway,

00:07:01And this new change in attitude for Alex Wright

00:07:04has led to quite a winning streak for the young man

00:07:06from Nuremberg, Germany.

00:07:08Now, the young man from Nuremberg

00:07:10will have to face former champion here in WCW, Prince

00:07:14Iakea, television champion early part of this year.

00:07:18And you know, Mike, many people thought that the Prince would

00:07:20not last as the champion for long,

00:07:22but he had a pretty good run as the TV champ.

00:07:24Certainly did a several month title reign

00:07:26as world's television champion.

00:07:28But it seems as if Prince Iakea is suffering

00:07:31from the proverbial sophomore jinx.

00:07:33He's having a hard time in regaining that title.

00:07:37And also, I think in terms of one loss record,

00:07:40the Prince definitely seems to be suffering from some sort

00:07:43of a second year jinx.

00:07:46Second year jinx.

00:07:47Just inexperienced.

00:07:48And I think even when he had his hands on the title,

00:07:50I think it was kind of a fluke looking right there.

00:07:53Standing wide open for Alex Wright.

00:07:57Well, fans, you heard us talk about Bash

00:07:58on the Beach last night in Daytona Beach.

00:08:00What a super spectacular event.

00:11:45we talked about a lot this past weekend, and we look forward to.

00:11:48It's going to be family member against family member here, guys, the Guerreros.

00:11:53Eddie will meet Chavo Jr.

00:11:56And I just don't buy into Eddie Guerrero telling us

00:12:00that he's trying to toughen up Chavo Jr. from his acts in recent weeks.

00:12:05My brother ate your lunch in the ring.

00:12:07Doesn't mean you gotta talk bad about the Guerreros.

00:12:11He must have heard you.

00:12:14Wow, well, let's go back and show the fans last week what happened here on WCW

00:12:19Monday Night Raw.

00:12:21Eddie being double teamed, being pounded, makes the tag to Chavo.

00:12:27I mean, he really got out of the corner in a hurry.

00:12:30But that was not the whole story during the tag match.

00:12:33As a matter of fact, Eddie Guerrero walked away,

00:12:37left Chavo to be assaulted by two men.

00:12:42Left him to the wolves.

00:12:43Yes, he is.

00:12:44The wolf pack, actually.

00:12:45Norton and Bagwell destroyed Chavo Jr.

00:12:48while Uncle Eddie walked away from the ring.

00:12:51Another part of that story later on, our cameras in the back

00:12:53shows the two men, Eddie and Chavo Jr. going at it, fisticuffs.

00:12:59And that has led now to this one on one matchup.

00:13:02It should be, if nothing else here, living legend.

00:13:05Very interesting to see what happens.

00:13:08We don't have no strangers to the Guerrero family.

00:13:11I've wrestled Chavo, Sr., Mondo, Hector, and they always fought amongst themselves.

00:13:17But it never got this far out of hand.

00:13:20They always woke up the next morning and they were family again.

00:13:22But something happened here with Eddie and Chavo.

00:13:26Eddie's even got a, I hate to say this, Tony, but

00:13:29he's got that greasy look like the New World Order does.

00:13:33Now, speaking of the New World Order, you heard what the Giant said.

00:13:36He went around to every dressing room here in the Orlando

00:13:39Arena looking for one Kevin Nash.

00:13:42Kevin Nash has not arrived to the building as of yet.

00:13:45He couldn't find him anywhere.

00:13:47But he was looking for him.

00:13:48And I tell you, that is a very explicit situation, Mike.

00:13:51That certainly is, Tony.

00:13:53But as you mentioned, that does not mean that they can't show up at some point

00:13:57later in this broadcast.

00:14:00That time, Eddie tried to throw him over the top.

00:14:02Chavo, quick maneuvering, heads out, up.

00:14:05Chavo landed on his feet, sends Eddie over with an arm drag.

00:14:09Incredible elevation on that back body drop by Chavo.

00:14:14That was an elevation with purpose right there.

00:14:17Flying forearm smash connected.

00:14:20And Eddie is on the outside.

00:14:22Eddie Guerrero turning his back on his own family is not a surprise to anyone.

00:14:27An incredible cross body block off the top.

00:14:30And what happened that time with the cross body block, the foreheads collided.

00:14:34And Chavo's hurt as much as Eddie here.

00:14:36Now that Chavo's up, he's walking and he's still down.

00:14:41The fact that Eddie turned his back on his family, it's not a surprise to anyone

00:14:45that has followed this man's 11-year career.

00:14:48It was just a couple of years ago that Eddie Guerrero turned his back

00:14:51on the entire country of Mexico.

00:14:54He denied any association with Mexico despite his family roots.

00:14:58His behavior has to be an embarrassment to Chavo, Mondo, and Hector,

00:15:04his proud brothers who never shunned their family or their heritage.

00:15:08Now Chavo is up and Eddie hit the ropes.

00:15:12And that will change the complexion of this match completely here.

00:15:15Smart move by Eddie.

00:15:16I mean, thinking on his feet was quick to knock Chavo off balance.

00:15:20And he's getting aggressive.

00:15:21He's moving in.

00:15:23He could be the best of all the Guerreros.

00:15:25Well, we talked about that a lot.

00:15:27You know, we talk, we use the adjectives of intensity with Eddie Guerrero and

00:15:32hard determination.

00:15:34And it's really changed for this man now.

00:15:36Sending him on the outside.

00:15:38Get over here.

00:15:44That is pretty disgusting if you ask me.

00:15:48It's almost as if he's trying to humiliate him on national television.

00:15:51And we've mentioned in the past, despite the fact that they are uncle and

00:15:55nephew, three years of age separates them.

00:15:58And they grew up as brothers.

00:16:01Chavo, determination plus here.

00:16:04And Eddie fires back.

00:16:06Neither man really in this matchup can get much of an advantage here.

00:16:09What's gonna be interesting is, I mean, Eddie experienced, you know, he has.

00:16:13I think it's more than enough to compete with the determination Chavo has.

00:16:16Chavo is gonna have to dig down deep to compete with the experience.

00:16:22He got one in.

00:16:23Eddie, the face to the top.

00:16:28And he got a two only.

00:16:31The Northern Lights suplex was on target.

00:16:35And Chavo back to the attack again.

00:16:42Two count that time with the German suplex followed up by the bridge.

00:16:46You know, Chavo Jr.

00:16:47has come a long way in a short span.

00:16:52A pick up and a scoop slam now.

00:16:58I don't know if this is smart.

00:17:11He tried a frog splash.

00:17:19And of course, if anyone knows how to counter the frog splash,

00:17:23it would be this man, Eddie Guerrero, follows it up with a powerbomb.

00:17:29This looks like it's time for his patented move.

00:17:32Well, if Eddie's trying to toughen up Chavo, this is the way to do it.

00:19:37talking about the mystery partner

00:19:39who would meet Scott Hall and the Macho Man Randy Savage.

00:19:42Then it ends up being Kurt Hennig,

00:19:45a man that just came in and all of a sudden

00:19:48he leaves you high and dry last night.

00:19:52Well, first of all, Gene,

00:19:53let's go back in time about six months.

00:19:57Six months ago, I had a match up in Minneapolis

00:20:01and after the match, I went out for a few beers.

00:20:04At the place I was at, I ran into Hennig.

00:20:09As we continued talking to each other,

00:20:11I realized we had a lot in common.

00:20:14We went to the same school, School of Hard Knocks.

00:20:19Wait a minute.

00:20:20And as we continued talking,

00:20:22he told me about the respect he had for me

00:20:26as far as my work ethic was concerned

00:20:28and how I'd come so far so fast.

00:20:31So when it came time for Diamond Dallas Page

00:20:34to find someone to back him up,

00:20:37my first choice, without a doubt, would have been Sting.

00:20:43But Sting's bailed me out so many times

00:20:46I didn't want to go there.

00:20:48My second choice would have been, without a doubt,

00:20:50Luger and The Giant, either one.

00:20:52But they already had a match with Rodman and Hogan.

00:20:55Great job last night.

00:20:58Amen.

00:21:01So I got on the horn, I made a few calls

00:21:03and I started thinking, without a doubt,

00:21:04Hennig would be an excellent partner.

00:21:07I called him up, I asked him if he wanted

00:21:09to get back in the ring with me.

00:25:25all the sports talk shows, radio talk shows around the world,

00:25:29I don't need to tell you, the national exposure and

00:25:32actual state of last night by Hogan and Robin.

00:25:35We're going to talk more about that when we come back.

00:25:39But fans, don't forget what happened at the Great American Bash.

00:25:48We are back live with this tag team bout.

00:25:50And with the win last night for Rick and Scott Steiner,

00:25:53they now have the world tag team title shot they deserve.

00:25:56Coming up at Road Wild in the month of August from Sturgis.

00:26:01And the great rally in Sturgis on the 11th of August.

00:26:04We are going to have a big event.

00:26:08And the Steiner brothers have history on their side at Road Wild.

00:26:12Remember back in February at the NWO sold out pay-per-view,

00:26:16they defeated Kevin Nash and Scott Hall to win the world's tag team titles

00:26:21before Eric Bischoff stepped in and overturned that decision.

00:26:28So the Steiner brothers now, I guess you can say,

00:26:31maybe this is another attempt at a road map here.

00:26:34Talking about other members of the NWO.

00:26:37You know, Larry, before the break we also talked about

00:26:40the media attention last night on the big main event

00:26:43with Dennis Rodman and Hollywood Hulk Hogan

00:26:45against Lex Luger and The Giant.

00:26:47Talk was everywhere, Tony.

00:26:49Every time you hit the clicker, you saw Hollywood Hogan,

00:26:53you saw Rodman, you saw Luger and The Giant.

00:26:57And I tell you, I want to see it again.

00:27:50have instructed Bagwell and Norton

00:27:53to take care of the Steiner brothers
