Israeli strikes hit Hezbollah arms depots in Lebanon, sparking fears of escalating conflict | Aljazair News

  • last month
In southern Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes targeted Hezbollah weapons depots, causing secondary explosions. These attacks are part of Israel's efforts to weaken Hezbollah’s military capabilities, including targeted killings of its members far from the border. Despite Hezbollah's attempts to divert Israel's focus from Gaza, Israeli strikes continue with little restraint. Analysts suggest Hezbollah's actions have not deterred Israel. The group has accused Israel of crossing red lines by targeting Beirut and civilians, which could escalate the conflict further if a ceasefire in Gaza is not reached.
