00:07Alex Cooper, the host of the popular, unfiltered sex and relationship podcast Call Her Daddy,
00:14is ending her own relationship with Spotify.
00:17Cooper signed an agreement with SiriusM, giving the platform exclusive advertising and distribution
00:23rights as well as other content and events.
00:27The multi-year deal is worth $125 million across three years, an individual familiar
00:33with the deal terms told CNN, more than double her previous deal with Spotify.
00:39The deal brings exclusive content to SiriusM starting next year, as IRI USXM also received
00:46exclusive global ad sales rights to all editions of Cooper's Unwell Network, which includes
00:52podcasts Hot Mess with Alex Earle, Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy, Boyfriend Material
00:58with Harry Jowsey, and In Your Dreams with Owen Thiel.

01:10is yet another popular podcast to leave its streaming platform behind for SiriusM.

01:18Jason Bateman and Sean Hayes left Amazon to take their podcast SmartList to SiriusM for
01:24a three-year deal valued at $100 million.
01:28While SiriusM has doubled down on our commitment to podcasting, Scott Greenstein, president
01:34and chief content officer of SiriusM said in a January release,
01:38Spotify has had to slash its staff to make up for the more than $1 billion it has spent
01:44on podcasting, much of which went toward deals with celebrities to make podcasts that
01:50never materialized and acquiring podcast studios that it later shuttered.
01:55While $125 million might sound like a staggering amount for a podcast, Cooper has raked in
02:02millions before.
02:03In 2021, Cooper left Barstool Sports for a Spotify three-year agreement reportedly worth
02:09$60 million.
02:11The Daddy Gang will always be my top priority, and with SiriusM we will continue to find
02:17new ways to evolve and provide my listeners the best experience, Cooper said in a statement.
02:23The Daddy Gang refers to Cooper's listeners.
02:26Since launching in 2018 with former co-host Sophia Franklin, Cooper has become the most
02:32listened-to female podcaster in the world, SiriusM said in a release.
02:37Call Her Daddy has interviewed music stars from Zayn Malik and Christina Aguilera to
02:43actors Jane Fonda and Gwyneth Paltrow.
02:46Even though SiriusM now holds the advertising rights, Call Her Daddy and The Unwell Network
02:52will still be available on Spotify, where the majority of listeners remain.
02:57Representatives for Cooper did not respond to CNN's request for comment.

03:08Tuesday.
