00:00That's why today's announcement is so important.
00:02We're announcing that we've got 100 new staff specialist officers in the NCA,
00:08boosting numbers by a third to make sure that there is the capability we need to tackle those
00:14evil criminal gangs that are undermining our border security and putting lives at risk.
00:19It's really important that we have our capability in place as soon as possible because we want to
00:23see a change. We want to see that our criminal gangs have that action taken against them to
00:28disrupt the work that they are doing and the way they are undermining our border security
00:33and doing that whilst putting lives at risk. That's why we need to see this action taken
00:38working alongside Europol and our international partners so that we can see this action being
00:45taken that's having then an impact on what we're seeing on our borders. But it's also
00:49really important that we see enforcement and that's why we're increasing as well over the
00:55next six months a surge in returns because it's really important that those who have
01:00no right to stay are also removed from our country.
