00:00In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, let us begin with the purified
00:10name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
00:15In the previous program, I mentioned a hadith in your service, in which the Holy Prophet
00:22ordered a Jew to be killed, Ka'ab bin Ashraf.
00:28The hadith was number 2510.
00:31After narrating this hadith, Imam Abu Dawood mentioned this hadith in a little more detail,
00:38which I also narrated to you.
00:40And today, God willing, Imam Waqidi, may Allah have mercy on him, in his book, Al-Maghazi,
00:47Volume 1, Page 177, has mentioned this incident from his own chain of narration.
00:52God willing, he will also mention it in your service, and then there will be a lot of commentary on it.
00:57So, it is said that Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah narrated that Ka'ab bin Ashraf was a poet,
01:03and he used to perform the hijab of the Holy Prophet and his companions.
01:08As I told you, the hijab is when someone is accused of saying bad things,
01:13and in his poetry, the disbelievers are accused of war against him.
01:22When the Holy Prophet came to Medina, there were people of different faiths living there.
01:28Among them were those Muslims who had been united by the invitation of Islam.
01:33Among them were two tribes of Aus and Khazraj.
01:38When the Holy Prophet came to Medina, he intended to reform them.
01:44Among them were those who were Muslims, but their father was a disbeliever.
01:49Ka'ab bin Ashraf continued to insult the Holy Prophet and his companions,
01:56to the extent that the Holy Prophet prayed,
01:59O Allah, may the evil spread by Ka'ab bin Ashraf be enough for me.
02:04He made this prayer.
02:06The Holy Prophet then said to his companions,
02:09Who will kill Ka'ab bin Ashraf? He has tormented me.
02:15Hazrat Muhammad bin Maslamah said, O Messenger of Allah, I will kill him.
02:19The Holy Prophet said, Kill him.
02:21Then Hazrat Muhammad bin Maslamah stopped eating and drinking for several days.
02:25The Holy Prophet called him and asked, O Muhammad, have you stopped eating and drinking?
02:32He replied, O Messenger of Allah, you have given me an order.
02:35I do not know whether I will be able to fulfill this order or not.
02:40The Holy Prophet said, you should try for it.
02:44And the Messenger of Allah said, you should consult Hazrat Sa'ad bin Mu'adh in this matter.
02:49Then a group of Hazrat Muhammad bin Maslamah and Hazrat Abu Isa bin Jabr gathered.
02:54Among them were Hazrat Ibad bin Bashar, Hazrat Abu Naila, Salman bin Salama,
02:59Harith bin Aus, and Hazrat Abu Isa bin Jabr.
03:04They said, O Messenger of Allah, we will kill him,
03:07but please give us permission to say something if we have to do something to mislead him.
03:14That is, we say a little bit up and down, like you give us permission against you.
03:20The Holy Prophet said, you can say.
03:22Then Hazrat Abu Naila went to him.
03:25When Ka'b bin Ashraf saw him, he felt threatened.
03:30And he thought that there would be other people behind him.
03:33He was frightened.
03:36And Hazrat Abu Naila and Hazrat Muhammad bin Maslamah were his brothers.
03:42They talked to him for a while.
03:45When Ka'b bin Ashraf's fear was gone, he asked,
03:48Why did you come to me?
03:51Hazrat Abu Naila said that since this person has come to Medina,
03:55whom the Holy Prophet referred to, the mountains of calamities have fallen on us.
04:00And he has started a war with the Arabs.
04:02And he is shooting arrows at us with one bow.
04:05We are hungry and in need and our children are being wasted.
04:09And we are forced to take charity.
04:12Ka'b said, By Allah, I told you before that this is what is going to happen.
04:17So he got a little sympathy.
04:19Hazrat Abu Naila said that I have other companions with me.
04:23Their opinion is also like mine.
04:25I intend to bring them to you.
04:27And we will buy some food and dates from you.
04:30And you treat us well.
04:33And we will keep some things with you for bail.
04:36Ka'b said, I don't know what you want.
04:39Hazrat Abu Naila said that we want them to be defamed.
04:45They should not be able to progress.
04:47He said this about the Holy Prophet to get his attention.
04:52He said this to incite him towards himself.
04:55And he wants to get away from them.
04:57Ka'b said, Abu Naila, you have made me happy.
05:00Now tell me, what will you keep with me?
05:03Will you keep your sons and women with me?
05:06He said, do you want to defame us?
05:09And do you want to reveal our secret?
05:11Yes, it is possible that we keep our weapons with you.
05:15Ka'b agreed.
05:17Then Hazrat Abu Naila said this so that when he and his companions come to attack him,
05:23he should not feel any danger.
05:25Then he decided to meet him for a day.
05:29Then he went to the Holy Prophet and informed him.
05:33The Holy Prophet came to drop him off at Baqi.
05:37And he sent him off with a prayer and said,
05:40May Allah's blessings and his help be with you.
05:44At night he woke up Ka'b bin Ashraf.
05:47And he came out despite his wife's refusal.
05:51In a narration, his wife was very intelligent.
05:53She said, I am feeling a lot of danger, you don't go.
05:56He said, no, I trust them.
05:58And he said to her, O Ka'b, let's go to an old woman's gutter and talk.
06:04So they went to the desolate area.
06:07Then Abu Naila put his hand on Ka'b's head and said,
06:10O Ka'b, the fragrance of your perfume is so lovely.
06:14The narrator says that Ka'b bin Ashraf used to use musk and amber oil.
06:20They walked together for a while.
06:22Then suddenly Abu Naila grabbed his hair,
06:25grabbed his head with his elbows,
06:28and said to his men to kill the enemy of Allah.
06:32Then his men began to hit him with swords.
06:35Hazrat Muhammad bin Maslamah said,
06:37I remembered that I have a dagger.
06:40I pierced that dagger into his stomach.
06:43Then he shouted loudly at the enemy of Allah.
06:46Then he cut off his head from his stomach and took it with him.
06:51Until he went to the Prophet.
06:55When he reached Baqi al-Gharqad,
06:57he raised the slogan of Takbeer.
07:00The Prophet was praying there all night.
07:04When the Prophet heard the voice of Allah in Baqi,
07:09he realized that the Muslims had killed that enemy.
07:13When the Muslims arrived,
07:15they saw that the Prophet was standing at the door of the mosque.
07:19The Prophet said, all these faces have succeeded.
07:22The Muslims said, O Messenger of Allah,
07:24your blessed face has also succeeded.
07:26And the Muslims threw the head of Ka'b bin Ashraf in front of the Prophet.
07:30And the Prophet praised Allah for his killing.
07:33And he thanked Allah.
07:36Allama Waqidi has written that Ka'b bin Ashraf was killed on the 25th of Rabiul Awwal.
07:41This is an incident in detail.
07:43It is worth noting that
07:47when there is a confrontation and the enemy is in front of you,
07:51it is permissible to use various tricks.
07:55This is the saying of the vagabond minds
07:59that everything is permissible in love and war.
08:02There is nothing permissible in love.
08:04It is always unlawful.
08:06But in war, it is possible that
08:08a person disguises himself as an enemy
08:12so that the enemy does not suspect him and attacks him.
08:16Similarly,
08:18Hazrat Muhammad bin Maslamah,
08:20with the permission of the Prophet,
08:22said a few things against the Prophet
08:24so that his trust is established.
08:26Because all these people wanted
08:28the mercy of the Prophet to fail in his mission
08:31and people should not believe in him.
08:33So when he saw that a group was joining him
08:36and he was a bad man,
08:38he immediately offered to cooperate.
08:40In short,
08:42it is not an objectionable thing
08:44that despite being a Muslim,
08:46why did he deceive him?
08:48Because it is completely forbidden to deceive in normal circumstances.
08:51The mercy of the Prophet clearly stated
08:53that the wealth of every non-believer is permissible for you
08:57except for deception and lies.
08:59The saying of the Prophet,
09:01peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
09:03is that every non-believer
09:05who has not come to your country with peace
09:08or does not live in the responsibility of the ruler of Islam,
09:11is called a non-believer.
09:13So the government says that
09:15the wealth of every non-believer is absolutely permissible for you.
09:18But even in that,
09:19this restriction has been imposed.
09:21It will not be through deception and lies.
09:23For example,
09:24if a non-believer gets something,
09:26it can be kept because his wealth is not innocent.
09:28Although it is better to give it in these days
09:30so that the love of Islam and Muslims
09:32is born in his heart.
09:34But anyway,
09:35it is permissible legally.
09:36But even in that,
09:37deception and lies
09:38has been forbidden by my master.
09:40But this is a normal situation,
09:42a normal environment,
09:44a moderate environment.
09:46When there is a state of war,
09:48then techniques can be adopted.
09:50You see,
09:51when there is a war,
09:52they fight each other.
09:54So nowadays,
09:55attacks are being made from a mile away
09:57on the basis of modern technology.
09:59But in the first period,
10:00they used to fight with spears and spears.
10:03So there was a war technique in that.
10:05He pointed from here,
10:06killed from here.
10:07Isn't this deception?
10:08Or tell me first,
10:09I am hitting from here,
10:10brother,
10:11don't be deceived and then hit.
10:12It is certain that
10:13in this way,
10:14war cannot be won.
10:15So,
10:16in short,
10:17there was no legal fault in this.
10:19It was with the permission of the Messenger of Allah.
10:22It is absolutely good and permissible.
10:24The second thing is that
10:26it was becoming the cause of the loss of religion.
10:29And the companions,
10:30Alam and Ridwan,
10:31were also observing this for a long time.
10:34But why did the mercy of the Holy Qur'an
10:36not immediately order him to be killed?
10:39I have already explained this
10:41that it was not according to any psychology.
10:43Certainly,
10:44Allah inspired the Holy Prophet.
10:47He prayed against him properly.
10:50And then he was allowed to have mercy.
10:52Therefore,
10:53this is a result,
10:54I just want to say,
10:55that if you see any such activity
10:57in the current era,
10:59then to take the law into your own hands
11:02or to consider someone
11:04on the basis of doubt
11:06that I can do something against him,
11:08this is not appropriate.
11:09In this way,
11:10if every person decides about someone
11:12without knowledge
11:14that he has committed a crime,
11:16he has committed a blasphemy,
11:17I can kill him,
11:18it became permissible for me,
11:20then it is possible that
11:21tomorrow your son,
11:22your brother,
11:23your father
11:24will also be killed
11:25because I had a doubt
11:27that your father had said something
11:29against someone,
11:30against Allah,
11:31against the Prophet,
11:32etc.
11:33This is not right.
11:34Therefore,
11:35this is the job of the state.
11:36Instead of taking the law into your own hands,
11:38if you feel that there is such a person,
11:40then definitely hand him over.
11:42If an FIR is filed against him,
11:44and the law is given way,
11:46then the punishment proposed for him
11:48is the best.
11:49But the problem arises at that time
11:51that when we get excited
11:53without thinking,
11:55we take practical steps,
11:57and many times,
11:58such things have come up
12:00that due to misunderstandings,
12:02we treated a person like this,
12:04and later he turned out to be innocent.
12:06Therefore,
12:07we should learn a lesson from this.
12:09The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,
12:11did not take any practical steps
12:13until he received a revelation
12:15and a sign from Allah.
12:17And then the companions
12:19dealt with it with your permission.
12:21You should keep this in mind.
12:25Let's come to the next chapter.
12:27Chapter Al-Rahni
12:29Marqoobun Wa Mahloobun
12:31Riding on a prey
12:33and drinking its milk.
12:37See,
12:39I have already told you this.
12:41Let me repeat it again.
12:43Suppose I lend someone
12:45one hundred thousand rupees.
12:47And I am not sure if he will give it on time.
12:49So, I said,
12:51keep your scooter with me.
12:53This is called keeping a loan.
12:55It is called keeping a loan.
12:57If you repay my loan by this time,
12:59then it is fine.
13:01Otherwise, I will sell your scooter
13:03and get my money.
13:05He agreed and kept the scooter.
13:07This is called a loan.
13:09Remember,
13:11I only have this as a guarantee.
13:13I am not the owner of it.
13:15Therefore,
13:17I can't repay your loan.
13:19Because according to the clear Hadith of
13:21the Prophet,
13:23the loan that attracts interest
13:25is called an interest.
13:27Now,
13:29I gave a loan.
13:31This guarantee came to me.
13:33Now, if I take interest from it,
13:35it will be an interest on the loan.
13:37So, all our brothers and sisters,
13:39learn a lesson.
13:41I repeat it again and again.
13:43If a poor person needs a loan in the village,
13:45then you keep his land as a guarantee
13:47and give him the loan.
13:49Now, until he doesn't repay the loan,
13:51we are farming on his land
13:53and we are getting interest.
13:55Then,
13:57when he returns the loan,
13:59we give him the land.
14:01The amount of interest we take is not counted.
14:03If we take someone's house,
14:05we rent it out.
14:07Or we start living in it.
14:09If we give him a car,
14:11we start driving the car.
14:13Remember that it is Haram and an interest.
14:15Repent in the presence of Allah.
14:17The amount of interest we have taken,
14:19that interest,
14:21that loan,
14:23that person will have to repay it.
14:25For example,
14:27God forbid, if a person gives Rs. 100,000
14:29and he keeps someone's land
14:31and rents it out.
14:33Every month, he gets Rs. 10,000 as rent.
14:35And suppose,
14:37he has taken Rs. 50,000 as interest
14:39until the loan is repaid.
14:41He will have to repay the loan.
14:43He will have to repay the loan
14:45because he can't keep it.
14:47And we will have to repent in the presence of Allah.
14:49If we don't do this,
14:51then in the field of society,
14:53Allah will make him pay for it
14:55through your good deeds.
14:57And it is certain that
14:59there will be less good deeds.
15:01So, how will he be able to repay it?
15:03That's why we should repent in the presence of Allah
15:05and never do this again.
15:07So, now,
15:09it seems that
15:11permission is being given.
15:13I will explain this later.
15:15The Hadith number is
15:172511.
15:19And Hazrat Abu Huraira
15:21may Allah be pleased with him,
15:23is the narrator of this Hadith.
15:25He says that the Prophet
15:27said that
15:29to pay for the loan
15:31of an animal,
15:33one should ride on it.
15:35And to pay for the loan
15:37of an animal,
15:39one should drink its milk.
15:41Now, this is a Hadith
15:43from which Imam Shafi'i
15:45may Allah be pleased with him,
15:47has drawn this conclusion that
15:49if someone takes a loan from someone,
15:51for example, if someone gives a loan,
15:53then he says to keep an animal with him.
15:55He kept a buffalo.
15:57So, now, it seems that
15:59one can ride on a buffalo.
16:01Or if he kept a horse,
16:03then one can ride on a horse.
16:05One can ride on a horse and drink milk.
16:07So, this seems to be a permission.
16:09Remember that
16:11this is the argument of Imam Shafi'i.
16:13But Hazrat Allama Badruddin Aini
16:15may Allah be pleased with him,
16:17who is a Sharih of Bukhari,
16:19and in the name of Ummatul Qari,
16:21he has written the best Sharih of Bukhari.
16:23And he is also a great jurist.
16:25He has also written many Sharihs of
16:27Fiqh books, like Hidayah al-Binayah
16:29is his Sharih.
16:31So, he writes that from this Hadith,
16:33Imam Shafi'i, Imam Shafi'i
16:35and non-Muqallideen of the Jama'at
16:37have argued that
16:39the animal that has been kept
16:41with him,
16:43will be ridden on it in return for its expenses.
16:45And in the same way,
16:47its milk will also be drunk.
16:49Whereas, Sufiyan Thauri,
16:51Imam Abu Hanifa,
16:53Imam Abu Yusuf, Imam Muhammad,
16:55Imam Malik.
16:57And according to one narration,
16:59Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal said that
17:02And this is contrary to the
17:04injunction of Rahan.
17:06The injunction of Rahan is that
17:08he should keep it permanently.
17:10And he is not the owner of it.
17:12Therefore, it is not permissible
17:14to take profit from the thing
17:16which has been kept for him.
17:18Neither can he take any service from it,
17:20nor can he ride on it.
17:22So,
17:24he said this.
17:26Now, regarding this,
17:28there are some
17:30Sahaba.
17:32Please note that
17:34Imam Abdul Razzaq narrated with his
17:36chain of narration that
17:38every loan from which you take profit
17:40is forbidden.
17:42There are other narrations on this.
17:44Inshallah, I will clarify this issue
17:46in the next program.
17:48When this hadith is present,
17:50why do the Ahnafs make this injunction
17:52against this hadith?
17:54May Allah grant us success.
17:56Ameen.
