00:00Hey, it's People in Pan, and it's alright if your summer vacay looked a little different
00:08than this one.
00:09Harry and Meghan just wrapped up four days in Colombia, where they met with locals, showed
00:14off their best dance moves, and even shared a little PDA.
00:17Now, they're not technically working royals anymore, but this trip kind of felt like a
00:23royal tour, with Meghan speaking on multiple panels, in English and Spanish.
00:28And at an Afro Women Empower event, she opened up about how their 3-year-old, Princess Lullabet,
00:38has already found her voice.
00:39Come on, girl power!
00:41Then the whole thing ended with a music festival.
00:43Sign me up for a trip like this!
00:46I tell you what, date nights don't come more special than this.
00:49Channing Tatum and his fiancée, Zoe Kravitz, had their love on full display at one of Taylor
00:54Swift's heiress tour concerts in London.
00:56Zoe got her groove on during Shake It Off, that is, before Channing's sneak attack with
01:01a kiss.
01:02Now, he also got a surprise that night, some guitar picks as a gift from Taylor's dad,
01:06which Channing has already promised he's gonna sell for charity.
01:11Well y'all, it finally happened.
01:14Bennifer is over.
01:15JLo filed for divorce on Tuesday, two years after her wedding to Ben Affleck.
01:19You know, we really all thought it'd stick this time, didn't we?
01:23She claims they've been separated since April, and a source says she's heartbroken, but Ben
01:28just didn't show any interest in fixing things.
01:30Not broken up though?
01:31Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin, according to her rep, he ain't that rock on her finger.
01:35As for Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan, it's more complicated.
01:39A source confirms they're on and off, but when Sabrina posted this flirty pic, Barry
01:44seemed to respond to the rumors by liking it, all while spending quality time with his
01:48son.
01:50Alright, listen up.
01:51Danielle Fishel had something very important to say this week.
01:54She's 43 now, a long way from the Topanga days, and she was recently diagnosed with
01:58a form of breast cancer.
02:00Thankfully, her prognosis is good.
02:02It is very, very, very early.
02:06It's technically stage zero.
02:08But she credits early detection for that because she didn't put off her annual mammogram.
02:12I was like, yeah, it's time.
02:14Gotta make that appointment.
02:15They found it so, so, so early that I'm going to be fine.
02:19She'll have to have surgery to remove it and some follow-up treatment after that.
02:24But listen to Danielle, people.
02:26Get your annual checkups.
02:28We're learning more about Matthew Perry's final days before his death by overdose in
02:32October.
02:33Let's get the latest from Dory.
02:35Hey, Mika, what's going on?
02:38Hey, girl.
02:39Alright, so they've actually been arrest in connection with his death.
02:43What do we know?
02:44So there's a lot to break down here.
02:45But after an investigation by the LAPD and federal agencies, five people were arrested
02:51in connection with Matthew's death, including Matthew's longtime assistant, a doctor who
02:55administered Matthew Ketamine, and the woman who goes by the name Ketamine Queen, who also
03:00allegedly supplied the drug, which is found to be a contributing factor in his death.
03:04That is just so sad.
03:06I think the assistant part for me was the most haunting.
03:09Absolutely.
03:10So initially, the doctor and drug supplier placed full blame on Matthew's assistant.
03:15And per court documents, the assistant allegedly injected him with the final dose of the drug
03:19after the actor told him to, quote, shoot me up with a big one.
03:23The assistant complied and then left to run errands.
03:26But upon returning, Matthew was facedown in his hot tub.
03:30That is so chilling.
03:31Okay, so what happens next?
03:33Will they all go on trial?
03:34Well, the assistant has actually already taken a plea deal along with an alleged middleman
03:39drug dealer, and another doctor was said to have gotten the drug for him.
03:43Yet despite the deal, everyone's still facing at least 10 years of jail time.
03:48I'm glad there's some justice that is being served, but again, really, really tragic.
03:52Well, thank you for the info, Dory.
03:54I'll talk to you later.
03:55Anytime.
03:56Bye.
03:57Bye.
03:58So the guy who inspired The Blind Side is back in the news, setting the record straight
04:02about his lawsuit against his former guardians.
04:05So Michael Orr says his time with Sean and Leigh-Anne Tooley was actually great, but
04:09he remembers feeling vulnerable because they were the first to ever tell him, I love you.
04:13As he put it, quote, I don't want to make this about race, but what I found out was
04:17that nobody says I love you more than coaches and white people.
04:20When black people say it, they mean it.
04:22His ongoing lawsuit alleges their family received millions of dollars for the film Brights to
04:26the Blind Side, while he received nada.
04:29But for him, this isn't actually about the money.
04:31He just wants to be the person he was before the movie, which he says portrayed him inaccurately.
04:36If you're on social media, you may never want to hear these words again.
04:41See how I come to work?
04:43Very demure.
04:44So it all started early this month when Jules Lebron shared some pointers for work appropriate
04:48hair and makeup.
04:50Now it's taken on a life of its own.
04:53Very demure.
04:54Very mindful.
04:55Very ladylike.
04:56Very mindful.
04:57Demure.
04:58Mindful.
04:59Very demure.
05:00Very demure.
05:01Jules has since gotten millions upon millions of views, enough that she can now afford her
05:06gender transition.
05:08Very cutesy.
05:09Very demure.
05:10Spooky season is just around the corner, and this scream queen has a say in those three
05:15little words.
05:16Beetlejuice.
05:17Beetlejuice.
05:18Beetlejuice.
05:19I'll need it upstairs.
05:22So Jenna Ortega is promoting the heck out of the sequel and dressing the part, honey.
05:27This Tom Brown ensemble in particular was giving her movie mom from the original.
05:31Obsessed.
05:32And can you believe Jenna used to be scared of Beetlejuice?
05:36But now she's all in with Tim Burton and killing it.
05:40The movie hits theaters September 6th, so two weeks to go.
05:43I can't wait.
05:45Chappelle Rowan has a message for some of her fans, the ones who act a little too entitled
05:50to her time.
05:51I don't give a f*** if you think it's selfish of me to say no for a photo or for your time
05:56or for a hug.
05:58She has a point.
05:59Your favorite artist's favorite artist is also a human being, y'all.
06:03She also recognized how some people say being stalked and harassed comes with the territory
06:07of being famous, but she is not okay with it.
06:10I'm allowed to say no to creepy behavior, okay?
06:13Now it's the sit down with Keegan-Michael Key.
06:16Hi, Keegan.
06:17I'm so excited to talk with you today.
06:19I feel like you raised a whole generation of us who have been watching you since Mad
06:23TV.
06:24Your career is so inspiring to me.
06:26When you look back, what's the first thing you tell young Keegan just starting out?
06:30One thing I would tell him very personally and philosophically is you are enough.
06:35You are a special individual in the world and you are enough.
06:39And the other thing I would tell him is whatever you do, keep on keeping on.
06:44All the connections that you make in your career and in the industry are worthwhile.
06:52Every connection you make.
06:53So be present when you're in those, when you're interacting with others or working
06:58with others or collaborating with others.
07:00I would just make sure to let them know, just be, stay there.
07:05Be here now and be present.
07:07Out of all the projects you've been a part of, what set made you laugh the hardest?
07:11One sketch in particular would be the continental breakfast sketch.
07:15Do you know that sketch?
07:18When Jordan says, when he's holding up that spork and he says, Ooh, look at you.
07:27Whatever he says, look at you, my little friend.
07:29Not a fork.
07:31Not a spoon.
07:32A fo-fo-fo-foon.
07:33It just did me in.
07:38When I've been able to watch people develop a sketch or develop a scene and then see it
07:43come to fruition, especially in front of an audience, was always a wonderful experience
07:49to be able to stand off camera and look at the monitors and laugh out loud and also have
07:55a sense of pride in the work and the process that the other performers went through.
08:01You're partnering with Lysol for their Here for Healthy Schools initiative, and you've
08:05actually been a teacher yourself.
08:07Why is this a meaningful collab for you right now?
08:10As we're heading back into the school year, I think it's really important for students
08:15to learn, especially at a young age, healthy habits and learn about germ education.
08:21And it's all kind of interconnected.
08:22If they're learning how to keep the classroom environment clean, then it allows them to
08:27be able to continue to be in that environment.
08:31Your guest starring on Abbott Elementary this season was so on brand.
08:35Free.
08:36Not free.
08:37Free!
08:38Please tell us there'll be more superintendent scenes in season four.
08:43I don't know.
08:44We will.
08:45I have.
08:46I wish I had an answer for you.
08:47I don't know.
08:48But, you know, in the entertainment industry, anything can happen.
08:51Anything can happen.
08:52So we'll see.
08:53It was just announced that Maya Rudolph is going to be back on SNL this fall for her
08:56amazing Kamala Harris impersonation.
09:04When you tackle a high profile impersonation, how does that process start?
09:08You know, for me, it's always trying to find, um, is there some thing that you can hook
09:15into one idiosyncrasy that the person does that you can hook into?
09:20So in case in point, Obama.
09:23So Obama does something that's called he does something that's called a glottal fry.
09:28And he does that with a glottal fry is this sound.
09:33Obama doesn't say, um, or oh, he goes, I was at the vineyard last week and we found some
09:46time to relax, me and Michelle.
09:49So there's this and then like a blast of a blast of energy.
09:54So if I was looking at Kamala, I would have to be listening to her and see where are the
10:00where are these kind of telltale, um, benchmark, um, sounds that she makes or patterns you're
10:08looking for speech patterns.
10:09And then what you want to do is you want to exaggerate them just a little bit.
10:13We're going to put 10 seconds on the clock, promote any one of your projects.
10:16Ready?
10:17Go.
10:18In September, I want everyone to know that the audio book version of the history of sketch
10:23comedy, which is a book that I wrote with my partner, Elle Key, um, is coming out.
10:28It's a wonderful book.
10:30It's a great, fun, informative journey about the history of comedy and sketch comedy, uh,
10:35in particular, and it's coming out in audio book, September.
10:38Please go check it out.
10:40Keegan, thank you so much for being here today.
