01:00Marcus is one of the NFL Network's fantasy gurus.
01:06And I was talking to Marcus about my fantasy draft, which is coming up on August 28th.
01:12And I am a complete newbie fantasy player.
01:16So we were having a philosophical conversation about how do you draft?
01:21And when I said I go, well, if running backs and receivers are the premium positions and
01:26you're waiting until rounds four or five, as an example, to get a quarterback, who are
01:30some of the quarterbacks that might be available?
01:32And he mentioned Anthony Richardson.
01:34He's like he's he's not necessarily known yet as a good NFL quarterback because he barely
01:40played last year as a rookie.
01:41But he is expected to be a good fantasy scoring quarterback because of all the running he'll
01:46do and because of the rushing touchdowns that he'll likely score.
01:50But he's also one of the biggest red flags because of all the running he'll do.
01:54And because he only lasted four games last year and in between, he would also missed
01:58time with injuries during those four games.
02:01So agree with Marcus Grant that he can be a massive boom in fantasy football.
02:08But I also think he could be a massive bust if he only plays, you know, a handful of games
02:12again.
02:13I think the Colts took him knowing that he needed to grow in a lot of areas as a passer
02:18because he only really played one year in college.
02:20But that one year that he played, it was off the charts from an athleticism standpoint.
02:26So for me, when I because I read that report, too, and I was like, damn, that's pretty bad.
02:32But if you're the Colts, and this is what you're coaching him to do.
02:36So you're in a joint practice, you're practicing what you want to do in a game.
02:41I don't have a problem with him exercising what he's actually going to do.
02:45So I'm on board with that.
02:46But if guys are talking to him, stop it, because if I remember correctly, when he did
02:51play, he was killing it.
02:54But the problem is, I mean, hit is a guy that wasn't a passer in college either.

03:01And in the NFL, there's a difference.
03:04There really isn't a guy that just runs and then decides to throw, you know, like there's
03:08it's it's there's guys like Lamar who can throw who can also run.

03:14And I don't know if Anthony Richardson is anywhere near, obviously not near Lamar, but

03:19I think Anthony Richardson is a runner who plays quarterback right now.

03:55Statistically, I think Gardner Minshew will play longer.
04:00But so are you measuring these statistics purely based on passing yards or are you adding
04:05in the effect of his rushing yard and average?
04:09So if we're talking total touchdowns, I think it'll be Anthony Richardson.
