00:00The moving day sets in where some of these players move up and down to try to get a chance
00:08to win a golf tournament.
00:09So why are you talking golf right now?
00:10Because it's moving day in Indianapolis.
00:13Moving in is Joe Flacco.
00:14Moving out is Anthony Richardson.
00:16You take a look at that Adam Schefter bombshell yesterday.
00:18The coaches met this morning and made seismic organizational decision to change quarterbacks.
00:23And yes, that means Anthony Richardson, the number three overall pick, no longer the starting
00:27quarterback.
00:28Is it short term?
00:29Is it long term?
00:30Let's start here, Dubsy.
00:32I agree with this decision because in the NFL, it's a week to week league.
00:37If you feel your team has a chance to win and a better chance to win with a different
00:41quarterback and or make the playoffs, you owe it to your locker room to make that change.
00:45Do we think Anthony Richardson is done in the NFL and can't be a quarterback?
00:49Not necessarily, but it's obvious to the point right now.
00:52He's inefficient at the quarterback.
00:54He's not making the plays he needs to make.
00:56And it looks like the Colts could be in a better position with Joe Flacco.
00:59Do you agree with this move?
01:02Absolutely.
01:03Yeah.
01:04And Joe Flacco, he's going to come in ready to rock and roll.
01:06We saw that last season when he took over the duties late.
01:09I think it's unfortunate, but it's a sign of the times that, you know, the only key
01:13metric or stat that matters in the NFL is the win column.
01:17And for the Colts who have put himself, put themselves in a really good position off the
01:21back of some decent play from Anthony Richardson, they've got to be looking around and saying,
01:27Flacco is going to be that guy for us.
01:28Richardson, he's only 22 years of age.
01:30He's put up some decent numbers.
01:32He's certainly a tremendous athlete.
01:34He's made some silly decisions at time.
01:36I don't think it's, uh, it helped you stop from what we saw last week, leaving the game,
01:40putting his hand.
01:41I'm saying I was a little tight on that one coach.
01:43Can I sit out a play and then go back into the mix?
01:46Doesn't really send a great vibe across the locker room, but what has he done on the field
01:51has been decent, I would say at best there.
01:55I think it's tough, Donnie, you know, for a young quarterback, you want to see what
01:58you're working with.
01:59You're trying to take that gamble and saying that maybe we've got the next CJ Stroud or
02:04the next Jordan Love or the next, you know, I guess Bo Nix, I guess has been pretty strong
02:09out the gates here in year one.
02:11It hasn't worked out in favor.
02:13He's shown us ability to rush there, but now put him to the back benches.
02:18The only concern, Donnie, is for me, it really hurts a young quarterback's confidence.
02:22You know, I know we can say, well, he can now learn from Joe Flacco, but maybe that
02:26decision should have made a little earlier in the season, but at least now you know exactly
02:31what you're working with.
02:32You can try and develop Anthony Richardson to come up and be that starting franchise
02:37quarterback going forward, because again, he's so young.
02:40He's only 22 years of age.
02:41He's got all the weapons to make it.
02:43It's just not right now.
02:44Joe Flacco, season pro, I love this for the Colts going against the Vikings coming up.
