00:00They're reacting really good to the smoke, thank goodness.
00:16This is a really interesting way they're building.
00:20They're not building from the top down like they usually do, like they did here.
00:24They're actually building from the bottom up.
00:27It's very rare with honeybees to build something up instead of down, because they usually hang
00:31their hives from the top of a structure down.
00:34This is a beautiful piece of honeycomb, and it's a light amber.
00:38That's the beginning of summer honey.
00:40I'm going to cut this away and bring it out in one chunk, hopefully.
00:44Oh yeah, oh my.
00:51This is lovely.
00:52Oh man.
00:54Oh man, look at that.
00:59Now that's luscious, isn't it?
01:04It's just like mama's milk, only better.
01:10Mmm.
01:12I never get tired of that.
01:15It's so good.
01:17Yeah, look at that, amber honey.
01:21It's fresh out of the beehive.
01:22You can't get it any fresher than this.
01:24These bees are so engorged with honey that if you touch them, they could explode.
01:29And they're very vulnerable right now.
01:31I don't want them to be damaged or hurt.
