00:30Shutting down a poaching gang of this size represents a particularly successful mission
00:43for Mthana and his rangers.
00:46Patrolling the Zambezi delta by helicopter, by vehicle, by motorbike, with Argos and on
00:52foot has, over the years, significantly decreased the threat of poaching in this area.
01:04In Zambezi delta we've got a lot of challenges and you have to make sure you try your best
01:15to stop all those things that the people are doing.
01:22Stop people cutting trees, stop people doing illegal fishing, and stop people burning fire.
01:30And if we are able to work with Murgais, I think we will be able to protect the wildlife
01:36and you will be able to see a lot of results coming.
01:50I spent a lot of years doing anti-poaching, which is good for me, but one day I just want
01:57my kids to come and see what I'm doing in Kodada 11.
02:04Maybe they will be liking what I'm doing.
02:08Maybe they will want to join me one day to see what I was doing.
02:13That's why I'm away from the middle home, so that they will see how important it is
