00:00I found it. Look at that comb right there. That's the start of the beehive. It's a new
00:06beehive. This is great. Finally, after opening up one, two, this is the third stud bay. Finally
00:12we have something that's real. And I can't wait to get inside and see how large this
00:16is. This is a very light comb, which tells me one thing. It's a very young beehive. We'll
00:21know once I get it opened up and take a look. With both Africanized honeybees and European
00:36honeybees, they have different temperaments. Bees will tolerate you for a while while you're
00:42opening and working them or taking them out of a wall or a roof. But then all of a sudden
00:47they say that's enough and then they get angry. It can be treacherous and dangerous
00:51and sometimes somebody can go to the hospital. It hasn't happened to me yet. I try to keep
00:56a close watch on that. All right, we have another comb coming out of this small hive.
01:05Look at that. The honey's on top. The bee pollen is the orange in the middle and the
01:09baby bees are at the bottom. There's no baby bees yet. These are just eggs, like little
01:13combs, right in the center of the cell. Can you see the eggs in there? It takes a keen
01:19eye to see an egg of a bee. This is another pure beeswax comb that they're making their
01:24home in. And they're really gentle bees and this is so fantastic to see them working like
01:29this knowing that they're being invaded. These are European honeybees. They're not the aggressive
01:35Africanized. They were just putting on a show like they were because they were trying to
01:39protect their new home.
