00:00The day has arrived to get on our new home for the next nine months.
00:05I can't believe it.
00:07They gave us this cute little checklist so we can check off all the countries we visit on the trip.
00:12So we got our luggage and we got checked in on the cruise line.
00:16Apparently there is 700 other passengers on the cruise ship that's doing the nine months.
00:21So we're definitely going to make some friends.
00:24And here is our room reveal.
00:28So we're cruising with Royal Caribbean and we're on their ship called Serenade of the Seas.
00:33And it was built in 2003.
00:35So it's one of their older ships.
00:37It's pretty cool to travel and have your own space.
00:39I think this room is amazing.
00:41What's nice is most of these mirrors you see has hidden compartments where you can store things.
00:47And we stored a lot of our luggage under the beds.
00:50But it was an absolute disaster unpacking.
00:53I mean, look at this.
00:55Here is the after.
00:56I mean, I think we did a pretty good job.
00:59And this is our cupboard.
01:01I had to squeeze in all my dresses and coats.
01:04And this is my husband's part.
01:06He is very neat.
01:07And this is the bathroom.
01:09Everything looks perfect.
01:11So yes, this is our room for the next nine months.
01:14And I can't wait to see the world.
01:18The next day.
01:24Meeting coming up in like 15 minutes.
01:26I have to rush just to look a little bit more put together.
01:30Let's do a little bit of skincare before I do go to the gym.
01:33And I'm first going to go to the gym after my meeting.
01:36So I'm going to clean my face a little bit.
01:39And I think I'm ready.
01:41I'm going to run and get some coffee and then do my meeting.
01:44I'm going to go up to the Crown Lounge and get a coffee there.
01:48Coffee good.
01:52It's good.
01:56Meeting is done.
01:57I'm just quickly going to get some rehydrate for my gym.
02:02Shake it.
02:06Start off with a 20 minute run and then I'm going to do some exercise.
02:10Look how beautiful my view is from the treadmill.
02:18Two scoops of the protein powder.
02:20Thank you so much.
02:23I got the protein smoothie because I have another two meetings.
02:26You know I had to change my outfits to go visit the Taj Mahal.
02:30I got this gorgeous dress from a designer back in Cape Town.
02:34And I've kept it all this time just for the photos at the Taj.
02:38So I was super excited wearing it.
02:40Here is Gustav.
02:41He looked so good in it.
02:43When we got to the Taj it was quite a walk.
02:45So they arranged some golf carts to take us to the Taj.
02:49Which I think was so nice.
02:51Walking up to the Taj there was the most beautiful photos of it.
02:55And here it comes.
02:58The view.
02:59I mean come on.
03:01Walking through that.
03:02This was one of the most incredible sights I've seen in my life.
03:06And I've seen quite a few now on this trip.
03:10The Taj is really something to see in person.
03:13The videos and photos are gorgeous.
03:16But it doesn't do the actual building justice.
03:19Now the Taj is actually a tomb of the late wife of a Mughal emperor.
03:24He was so heartbroken by her death.
03:27He built the Taj in memory of her.
03:30And later when he passed away he was buried next to her.
03:33So basically we couldn't take photos inside.
03:36But we got to enter inside and see where they were buried.
03:40And it was so cool inside.
03:42Look at this detail.
03:43Now this is still on the outside because I couldn't film inside.
03:46But how gorgeous.
03:48We arrived at the Taj at 4.30pm.
03:50And we were there till 6.30pm.
03:52So when you ever get to go to the Taj.
03:55I would really recommend to go at that time.
03:58Because it's not that hot.
04:00It's still very warm.
04:02But it's just after 4.30pm.
04:04It's still very warm.
04:05But it's just absolutely gorgeous seeing the sunset.
04:08And how beautiful the Taj looks at that time of day.
04:12And pro tip.
04:13Take some water with you.
04:15Our guide told us to take some water.
04:17And of course I didn't.
04:18So I was so thirsty after being there.
04:21We headed back to the hotel after our visit.
04:24And had some great food.
04:26And you know I had to get some naan again.
04:29They had some great Indian desserts.
04:31And that little balls I'm not too sure what it's called.
04:33Was so delicious.
04:35This was my last time eating naan in India.
04:37And it was perfect.
04:39I got some diet coke which I was so surprised about.
04:41It was really such an amazing experience.
