केंद्र सरकार की लखपति दीदी योजना के जरिए महिलाएं सशक्त और आत्मनिर्भर बन रही हैं। यूपी के झांसी में राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन के अंतर्गत करीला माता महिला स्वयं सहायता समूह की महिलाओं को उनकी मेहनत का फल मिल रहा है। खजूर की पत्तियों से झाडू बनाकर लखपति दीदी बनी सुमन देवी ने बताया कि महिला स्वयं सहायता समूह से जुड़ने के बाद पहले 10 रुपए से बचत शुरू की, जिसके बाद उनका खाता खुला और फिर उनको समूह की ओर से 15 हजार रुपए मिले।
