00:00His name was Ryan Evans. The 38-year-old former British soldier died in a Russian
00:06missile strike on a hotel in Kramatorsk late Saturday. Evans had worked with Reuters as a
00:12safety adviser since 2022, completing stints in Israel and at the Paris Olympics.
00:18The global news agency said Evans would be missed terribly,
00:22while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky offered his condolences.
00:26Seven people were wounded and one died in the strike. My condolences to friends and families.

00:43According to local officials, the hotel was struck by a Russian Iskander ballistic missile,
