00:00In June, you mentioned about AI incentive. Will it be considered in Budget 2025?
00:30To ensure that the talent pipeline coming from the universities and TVETs are AI trained so that when the industry as they adopt AI, they also have the talent ready to join the companies.
00:47So this is something we work on and we will present together to Ministry of Finance on some of the ideas that we need, especially for the upcoming budget to support AI development and AI adoption, especially in the country.
01:04So AI incentive that you are referring is to create more talent?
01:09There are many, of course. For industries, the tech adoption, we have this under National Industrial Master Plan. We have a target of taking up 3,000 companies. So they need to be able to be AI ready also.
01:24So we need support there, especially because this is targeting our local SMEs to take up using the latest technology, including AI technology. So that's one of the plans.
01:37So you hope that it will be discussed in the Budget?
01:42The Budget will be discussed in October. So we hope that all the suggestions that we put forward to the Ministry of Finance will be considered.
01:52But it is up to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Finance to decide whether these suggestions will be accepted or not. Thank you.
