00:14I mean, this is one of those rare players in the NFL that a team has to have in order

00:22And I know you could look around the league and you could say the same thing about Minnesota,
00:24but with Jefferson, right?
00:26But let's just be honest, Minnesota is in a different spot than the Dallas Cowboys were.
00:31So smart move by Dallas.
00:32And by the way, their hand was forced.

00:35And that's the thing that, you know, obviously every team in the NFL wants a guy like CeeDee
00:40Lamb, but when you already have him, you can't lose him.
00:45So the Cowboys kind of did, I think what was expected.

00:53out or holds in, in this case, and then, you know, a week before the season, two weeks
00:58before the season, he gets his big contract.

01:10It was, you know, I'm sure CeeDee Lamb thinks he's better than Justin Jefferson, but it
01:13seemed as if it was sort of agreed upon at some point by someone that, all right, Justin
01:20Jefferson's going to be the top guy, then CeeDee Lamb and so on.
01:23So he slotted in just barely below him and got his big deal that at least based on how
01:29these contracts work out, he deserved.
