00:00The start of week number four of this 2024 NFL regular season, a very impactful game on this
00:07Thursday night. The Dallas Cowboys on the road in MetLife, a divisional duel between two teams
00:14that both sit at one and two following two weeks. The Cowboys DRS now a five and a half point
00:20favorite. Total is 45 and a half. This line was four and a half earlier in the week. I think the
00:27market reflecting what the sports better is feeling. If Dallas is going to be worth anything
00:32this year, double digit wins in the regular season, contending for a divisional crown,
00:38maybe doing something that has eluded them and reaching an NFC title game.
00:42This is a game to prove their stuff tonight in MetLife.
00:46It is. And also it's sometimes it gets down to the common denominator, the simplest form, Ben,
00:50who has the better quarterback in this game. It's clear the Dallas Cowboys with Dak Prescott have
00:55the better quarterback. The Dallas football team should be able to move the rock against the
00:59Giants tonight from an offense to defensive perspective. Now, whatever you get out of
01:03Daniel Jones could be a positive. If he throws a touchdown pass or two, that's great. We understand
01:08Malik neighbors is a wonderful talent, but just man for man, talent wise, Dallas is the better
01:12team. But I did like what I saw out of the last two weeks from the Giants, even though the Giants
01:16did lose to the commanders, that wasn't the team's fault. That was upper management's fault and the
01:20coach's fault for not bringing a kicker. Otherwise you'd be two and one heading into this game.
01:24And say what you want about Cleveland. We don't think they're a very good team,
01:27but still the Giants going on the road to Cleveland and picking up a victory here.
01:30I liked what I saw. I love what I said of Malik neighbors. He's a target machine.
01:34He should be getting the football lot tonight. But the way I think it plays out is
01:38Dallas was embarrassed for the past two weeks with their performances
01:41at home. And also I love how you use the media. CD lamb sticks out in front. So you know what?
01:45This is on me. No excuses. I got my money. I got to perform better. Dak Prescott after the
01:50game last week, we were unprofessional on offense that can't happen again. So it looks
01:55like the word is getting home to Dallas where the season is on the line. As you said,
01:59they need a victory tonight. They should be able to get it. And the same theory goes,
02:03if they're going to win the football game and it's under a touchdown on the number,
02:06then you should be betting the Dallas Cowboys accordingly.
02:10The 19th game consecutively, the G-Men have been booked as an underdog. The last time they were
02:16favored in week two last year against Arizona. And listen, the idea that this game would not be
02:23elimination for one of the teams that falls in defeat and thus it does not actually matter.
02:29Go watch the crowd at Brian Denny on Saturday night and tell me it doesn't matter or it doesn't
02:34feel significant in that atmosphere at Alabama. Anyway, let's go around what we're seeing here
02:40in week number four of this NFL regular season. Dallas now a five and a half point favorite
02:45on the road in MetLife against the Giants total 45 and a half DRS. I said this right before we
02:51got to the end of our opening hour. This is the 19th consecutive game for New York as the underdog
02:57week two last year was the last time they were booked as the favorite. They didn't win that game
03:0231 28. I think even covering as less than a field goal favorite, the Cowboys now lay in five and a
03:10half on the road. The Giants have not been a great franchise as of late and the Giants are just
03:15one and two, but the Giants actually have been a pretty decent cover team in all of those games
03:21as an underdog 19 of the last 20 since the start of last year now about to be 20 of the last 21.
03:29And again, an underdog in 19 consecutive games starting tonight, nine nine in one against the
03:36spread as the underdog including that outright victory in Cleveland in week number three. The
03:42Cowboys only win outright as an underdog against the Browns on the road in the land week number
03:50one. What do you make of this game with a five and a half point spread on a short week?
03:54Yeah, it's interesting because usually my thought process always goes to Ben the home team on a
03:58Thursday. It has a major advantage. The home team in this game is the New York Giants who play
04:02competent football the past two weeks. And also you take a look at that spread at five and a half.
04:07So theoretically 2320 game Dallas gets their win. The Giants cover, but also sometimes you're just
04:12looking at this game and saying to myself as already brought up one quarterback is really
04:16bad. I don't care that Daniel Jones threw two touchdown passes last week. Hallelujah. My
04:20goodness. It's amazing. He can actually do that. The one thing we do know is this game is going to
04:24feature two really good wide receivers. CD lamb of the Dallas Cowboys Malik neighbors for the New
04:29York Giants. Yeah, but this game is only going to feature one really good quarterback and that's
04:33regular season Dak Prescott who can put up numbers where you're hoping Daniel Jones can just run a
04:38competent offense for the New York Giants. You know what else we know? We have both of these
04:42teams don't really have a dominant running game just to say the least. I like Devin Singletary
04:46as a running back, but in that offense just okay. Not nearly as hitting as what's a Kwan Barkley's
04:51doing with the Philadelphia Eagles. That would have been nice to have the Giants for tonight
04:54would say Kwan Barkley in the back, but they don't have them Rico Dowdle on the other side.
04:58You know, you take a look at some of the other guys are bringing in Deuce. Come on now at this
05:02point. You have an aging running back over there in Zeke that doesn't work for me. So I do think
05:06we might get some aerial shots here tonight from those two wide receivers, but just breaking it
05:11down coming into the season. We didn't think the Giants had much of a chance in the NFC East. We
05:15thought the Dallas Cowboys could challenge the Philadelphia Eagles as the two top teams in there
05:19Washington. We'll get to the later time. They look pretty good as well, but just for my money.
05:23I just like what I'm hearing out of Dallas where the pressure is really ratcheting up
05:28on the season because if you drop the one and three your season is quickly slipping away
05:32and it looks like Dallas is having some accountability Ben right on the offense
05:36CD land get in front of that mic. Hey, I got my money. I'm supposed to perform. I can't be dropping
05:40passes and fumbling in the red zone here. That's not what it's about. I'll get that corrected and
05:44Dak Prescott basically calling out the entire offense including their head coach as being
05:48unprofessional and unprepared for a football game as big as that last game was against the
05:53Baltimore Ravens. I think they tidy up tonight. I think they're the more athletic team with better
05:58talent and they win this game. Am I loving betting the road team on a Thursday? No, I'm not but that
06:02direction. I'm going with I think the profits are a little bit better shots tonight, but that's the
06:06angle. I look at tonight. Dallas should be shoring things up enough to beat the New York Giants.
06:11Listen, I think the g-men are actually more competitive this year than maybe we give them
06:15credit for maybe not winning games outright all the time, but keeping games closer than expected.
06:20So for Dallas now to cover by six points or more really around a touchdown short week Thursday
06:25night. We saw the Jets take advantage of MetLife last week of a spot that they needed with maybe
06:31some line inflation because the Patriots were covering numbers or more competitive than we
06:37expected. Might Dallas do the same albeit the road team and frankly DRS. Maybe it's good for
06:42the Cowboys to get out of the star where they had won 16 consecutive home games entering week number
06:48two got blown out by New Orleans last week. They lost by three, but they were the home underdog
06:54against Baltimore. Of course that game was closer in the end, but not really competitive throughout
06:59Dallas last year as a road favorite four and one against the spread covering by more than eight
07:04points per game. Dallas would have two teams only one of two so far in this NFL season in 2024 that
07:11has gone over in all three games in the Cowboys over by nearly double digits 9.8 points per game
07:17the Ravens the other team when you look at the Giants. They are one of eight teams that has been
07:22under in all three games 45 and a half is an intriguing total. I think DRS tonight from that
07:29point's perspective. If we are going to see Dallas be out there. There's the total board. I was waiting
07:35for it. How much offense do you think we get on this Thursday night at MetLife? It's a short
07:41week and again some of these primetime Thursday night games tend to go under but early in the
07:44season. Sometimes you're pushing that needle a little bit more to the over than under because
07:48teams are fresher at this point. You don't have you know enough film on certain guys and also
07:51taking a look at Daniel Jones in this point. How about this? We talked about Dak Prescott from a
07:55passing perspective Ben. Did you know sixth overall in the NFL for quarterbacks and passing attempts
08:00this year? It's actually Daniel Jones and look at this four touchdown passes through three weeks.
08:05That's an amazing pace for Daniel Jones usually it's four or three games in he's got one touchdown
08:10pass and he does have the two interceptions and granted one of those interceptions was a pick six
08:14by the Minnesota Vikings so it looks like they're starting to trust Daniel Jones more and also
08:18if you're looking at that total in points Ben right if it was a clear ground and pound game
08:23for both sides the clock's going to run a defensive effort you're sort of left there
08:27trying to hope for points but if we're taking a look at the offense for the Dallas Cowboys which
08:31is built on the passing game and Daniel Jones as you said six most passing attempts in the NFL
08:36maybe we're seeing more passes tonight and also if the running game is stuffed
08:40in completions big completions penalties incomplete passes top the clock maybe get
08:45more plays tonight so I do think the game does trend more to an over for me than an under yeah
08:50Daniel Jones was awful in week one at home his only home game in MetLife this year he got booed
08:56by the home crowd 22 of 42 for a buck 86 no touchdowns two interceptions but in the two
09:03road games against Washington and against Cleveland last week multiple touchdown passes
09:08not a single turnover he has been sacked eight times this year something to pay attention to
09:13Michael Parsons looking pretty good looking for that contract next season the R.S. Dallas now we
09:18didn't really have high expectations for the G-Men even if they cover numbers a little bit more than
09:23we anticipated this year updated win total five and a half it was six and a half before the year
09:28but the Cowboys win total is now nine and a half in the under has the juice listen we can talk about
09:33the Cowboys postseason outlook at another date and you know I am not optimistic about that but
09:38Dallas has won 12 games each of the past three years and now they're not expected to even reach
09:43double digits yeah it is interesting because we tend to doubt them now this week they have
09:48the Giants then they go to the Steelers and the Detroit Lions before the bye and then probably
09:52catching a healthy San Francisco 49ers team after that bye followed by the Falcons and the Eagles
09:58this is a tough road for the Cowboys man player prop outlook for tonight will it dictate the
10:04outcome find out next the props for Thursday night football to kick off week number four Donny I agree
10:10with you I think more than the side or maybe even the total tonight there are some good prop looks
10:15on this Thursday now Dak Prescott leads the National Football League in passing yards
10:20this year he had 379 and two touchdowns against the Ravens was 28 of 51 he had 293 and a touchdown
10:29albeit two interceptions in week two against the Saints he's got more than 850 so far this season
10:36but the reason he leads the league is a little bit skewed it's because the Cowboys have been
10:41playing from such a deficit the last two weeks at home at the store we just talked about Daniel
10:47Jones 199 and a hook a very low number and not a number he has gone over often this year in fact
10:56only week number three against Cleveland but he has had multiple touchdown passes without throwing
11:02an int each of the past two weeks both quarterbacks slightly favored at least a little bit more minus
11:08money than not to throw an interception tonight DRS how do you compare these two quarterbacks
11:14yeah if we're looking from Daniel Jones and Dak Prescott on let's just say the yardage number
11:18right 199 and a half you figure that they're the underdog they should be throwing in the fourth
11:22quarter but sometimes like Daniel Jones having to throw and needing to throw right usually get him
11:28in trouble Daniel Jones with a lead in the second half it's probably a little bit better because you
11:33don't expect that he's going to drop back every single time so the point I'm making here is like
11:37he should throw for over 200 yards in this game but this turns into let's just say Dallas has a
11:4310 point lead been in the fourth quarter there's 11 minutes ago and Daniel Jones has 168 yards
11:48passing normally you'd say that should be very easy but that also means that pass rush is going
11:54to start getting home with Micah Parsons that means Daniel Jones is going to start to see the
11:58ghosts of his past where he's not a great passer interceptions strip sack fumbles the game you know
12:04sort of gets put off because Dallas starts to run the clock out and also Dak Prescott's 256 and a
12:08half he's supposed to hit that but also you're right when Dallas has a runner with them which
12:13means the other team has an offense that can put up equal points or put Dallas in a deficit there's
12:19no better quarterback than Dak Prescott as you saw the past couple weeks hey late in the game
12:22I'll be the one that throws for 100 fourth quarter yards if we need it if we're down two touchdowns
12:26and he can do that so I do think the better chance to get over the number is Dak Prescott at 256 and
12:32a half the reason I say it is that's their game plan the game plan is not for Daniel Jones to
12:36throw for 276 yards in a winning effort that's probably a losing effort for the New York Giants
12:41but also flip it over to the touchdown passes tonight Daniel Jones to throw two that's crazy
12:46at a plus 200 price can he do that possibly would I bet on it probably not but the one I do love
12:51which earlier in the week at the FanDuel Sportsbook was lower and today the over one and a half on
12:55Dak Prescott is minus 146 I still love that I can't see in any world tonight winning or losing
13:02based on what we heard out of the Dallas camp this week as they were unprofessional on offense
13:08and CeeDee Lamb is saying I gotta make up for it you know how coaches handle this you know
13:12players like Dak Prescott handle this hey CeeDee let's put on a show I got you you're getting 13
13:1714 15 targets tonight and when we get to the red zone I'm targeting you multiple times Dak Prescott
13:23over two touchdown passes tonight I flat out love that bet and you know who's finding Peter it's the
13:30guy that is favored to do so at minus 130 that would be CeeDee Lamb DRS I think I could look at
13:36every CeeDee Lamb prop tonight and bet the over when a when a wide receiver takes accountability
13:43calls themselves out for lack of production Jamar Chase kind of said something similar
13:48entering week number three it was a Jamar Chase game despite Cincinnati faltering in that Monday
13:55night football game against the commanders but when a wide receiver calls himself out which is
14:01not what you often see you look at them tonight six and a half reception 79 and a half receiving
14:07yards minus 130 to find Peter DRS he has been targeted seven times in all three games for the
14:14Cowboys this year but only has 13 grabs he did score week number two against New Orleans again
14:22I look to CeeDee tonight I think my favorite of all of them is anytime TD at minus 130.
14:27Yes and by the way the Giants have a surprisingly good pass rush you know coming on Brian Burns
14:32the acquisition you got Lawrence on the defensive line they're really good but also the deficiency
14:36of that defense is no playmakers in the secondary which really helps out CeeDee Lamb and also when
14:41we talk we're going to talk about Malik neighbors in just a few moments but I always love to play
14:45into the narratives that I saw the week previous the only guy that doesn't play into those narratives
14:49like hey Gabe Davis is going back to Buffalo I'm going to make sure I take care from Trevor Lawrence
14:52he can't even take care of himself let alone help anybody else on the field Dak Prescott can take
14:57care of his best weapons and he's going to do that tonight yeah Jake Ferguson was the leading
15:01receiver in week three missed week two he had more than 90 yards 42 and a half is the number
15:07I think it's a discount again I think the offense is going to look good for Dallas tonight now let's
15:11talk Malik neighbors DRS he has been sensational this year you know who leads the National Football
15:16League in target so far it's Malik neighbors with 37 he has been targeted double digit times
15:23in each of the past two weeks he's got three receiving scores in each of the past two weeks
15:29I have loved this guy since he came in he bagged on the what was it the century red uniforms he
15:36is called Daniel Jones Daniel Jones he is the guy who was backed up his talk early with his play
15:43those putrid uniforms there is Malik neighbors though and again six and a half receptions
15:49feels a little bit like to me yeah it does and and you should be focused on neighbors because
15:54once again that Dallas Cowboys secondary much maligned through the first couple weeks of the
15:58season not really stopping anybody which you know Malik neighbors is the centerpiece of that offense
16:02he is going to get 10 plus targets in this game and also playing into the line itself Ben if you're
16:08the underdog theoretically you're supposed to lose that football game correct more past in the fourth
16:12quarter as opposed to running the clock out Wandale Robinson also is going to pick up some
16:16of those scraps if you know you have to stop Malik neighbors what are you doing as a defense double
16:20coverage rolling your coverage to his side which leads Wandale Robinson the chance to catch those
16:25short passes and turn them into longer games he's listed right now at 34 and a half but also if we're
16:30looking at the pass rush for the Dallas Cowboys that you think is decent it hasn't been great to
16:34start the season if they are getting home I love to take a look at running backs Devin Singletary
16:3915 and a half screen pass or two three to four targets in this game he can get that and also if
16:44they are losing that means extra targets and a third down back for Devin Singletary so I'm not
16:49down like we're talking mostly about the Dallas Cowboys in the explosiveness of their offense I
16:53think there's some money to be made even if Daniel Jones is my quarterback on some of these low prices
16:57for the Giants wideouts and look at the ground numbers for the Cowboys Rico Dowdle has the
17:04highest rushing yards prop at 38 and a half that is an issue for the Cowboys we expect again we
17:11expect the offense to be better but it has not been good for Dallas third worst rushing offense
17:16in the NFL to start this year less than 74 yards per game Thursday night football around the
17:22National Football League a short week TNF game to kick off week number four and for a third
17:28consecutive week a divisional duel tonight in MetLife Mark Zinnow's New York Giants hosting
17:34the Dallas Cowboys the GMAT five and a half point underdog total at 45 and a half you know this will
17:41be the 19th consecutive game for New York booked as an underdog but in the 19 of 20 games New York
17:48in total has been an underdog the last two years they're nine nine and one against the spread the
17:55Cowboys just a one and two football team much like New York what do you think the outcome looks
18:00like tonight on a Thursday at MetLife well the Cowboys have won 13 of the last 14 meetings in
18:07this series with nine of those going over the total so uh I think that's really the trend here
18:13but you know more importantly uh I lean Giants plus the points why because guess what we found
18:20out through two weeks maybe it was Dane Quinn maybe it was just some personnel but the Cowboys
18:24defense is not what it used to be they allowed 274 yards on 45 carries last week to the Ravens
18:30and then in week two the Saints rushed for 190 yards on 39 attempts so I expect a heavy dose
18:35of Devin Singletary and the Giants run game early on why because what Brian Dayball has learned the
18:41more I ask Daniel Jones to do stuff the worse off I am so the idea is to make sure that he doesn't
18:47have to do many things in this game to keep this thing competitive um I know Malik neighbors has
18:52kind of burst onto the scene the last two weeks and he's looked every bit as good as advertising
18:56that is a bright spot for the Giants but when you have no other places to throw the ball
19:00the Cowboys can kind of key on one guy defensively I know they got some injuries in the secondary so
19:06I expect this thing to be pretty run heavy at the outset but I think both teams are going to
19:10be able to score I lean the over but I'll take the Giants and the points tonight yeah take a look at
19:15a couple of those team totals tonight from the fan blue sports book the Cowboys over 25 and a
19:19half the Giants listed at 19 and a half if we take a look at some prop angles here we'll start
19:23with the Dallas Cowboys you see Dak Prescott starting quarterback 256 and a half as his
19:28passing prop touchdowns over one and a half and then you see the anytime interception by
19:33Dak Prescott at a minus 114 let's start with Dak Prescott expectations tonight mark for you what is it
19:41I would think that over one and a half passing touchdowns is the play for him
19:45because they don't have a run game they just don't like I mean there's there's the only way
19:50they're going to move the ball down the field is in the passing game you may also want to look at
19:55a Dak Prescott anytime touchdown because there's a good chance he might just plunge forward for one
19:59uh instead of trying to handing it off it's probably a better way to look at at least from
20:02a value perspective so that's what I look for for Dak um you know the Giants past defense hasn't been
20:08terrible but they have some injuries in the secondary right now and this is a short week
20:11for them so Dak could possibly take advantage from passing yards remember Dak does lead the
20:15league in passing mostly because he's been trailing by 30 points the last two weeks but
20:19nonetheless he's able to throw the football Daniel Jones mark and the one win for New York so far this
20:25year well over 199 and a half in fact in two consecutive weeks multiple touchdown passes
20:32without turning the football over and throwing an interception if the Giants are going to keep
20:37this game competitive tonight at home against the Cowboys you mentioned Brian Dayball not asking
20:43Daniel Jones to do all that much but what do the G-Men need out of Daniel Jones to keep this game
20:48close again that zero in the turnover column is probably the most important thing he's got to
20:53take care of the football but again another spot here where Daniel Jones over one and a half
20:57touchdowns at plus money seems like the way to go right as much as I think it's going to be run heavy
21:01and Devin Singletary is going to be a big part of it Daniel Jones you know the plus money value
21:07is there for me with neighbors being basically unguardable to this point obviously he's going
21:12to be looked to a lot and Jones and Emmer starting to build that rapport that you want your quarterback
21:17and wide receiver to have so yeah again I think that it's all up to the Giants and Daniel Jones
21:23to be able to work themselves in the passing game and oh by the way the Giants should never wear
21:27those ugly uniforms they wore on week one ever again don't put a graphic they're disgusting
21:34good idea absolute abortion of a uniform it's just awful welcome to our number three our third

22:43are we looking at uh-oh trying to get to the tarmac Mr. McCarthy why don't you just stick
22:48around here a little bit longer let the team fly back to Dallas without you I mean listen he's not
22:54under contract beyond this season so that could be the case if the Cowboys falter and because the
23:01line has worked to Dallas we are seeing another five and a half point spread what does that mean
23:07how is it influencing the public for tonight's Thursday night football game between the G-Men
23:12and the boys that was the question to all of you in Fade the Public
23:24so DRS before we get to the results of this poll I told you I would be keeping track of the public
23:29responses and if we really should be fading the public for the standalone Monday and Thursday
23:34night football games where we ask a best bet or what is more likely some question of the sort it
23:41was a little bit complicated on Monday because we asked the public Moneyline winners what do you
23:46like tonight in terms of a parlay of course they went Buffalo and Cincy and the Bengals lost
23:54outright to Washington so in the Fade the Public polls the public now three and three and even 500
24:01which leads us to tonight's votes and results at SportsGrid on Twitter what is the best bet for
24:09Thursday night football Dallas playing the number the Giants is the home underdog points over 45 and
24:15a half or we stay under 45 and a hook and most of the public DRS going with Dallas laying five
24:23and a half more than 44 percent of the votes back in the boys yeah how about this too over and under
24:29now updated here on X 45 and a half over 45 and a half or excuse me under 45 and a half they're
24:34tied at 17 percent apiece so it's a draw there but I do believe the public should be on the right
24:41side tonight a minus five and a half on the Dallas Cowboys just looking at the better football team
24:45the tough part about it too is you just the expectations of Dallas being better than the
24:49New York Giants but the past two weeks we don't know actually how good the New Orleans Saints are
24:54since they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles but looks like they're going to be competent and maybe
24:57a 10-win team not so bad a loss but you got blown out for the Cowboys last week we expect the Ravens
25:02to be in the playoff so they lose to the Ravens not a great look because technically they were
25:06getting blown out until late a couple junk touchdowns here both of those at home maybe
25:10it's best that they do get out of Jerry Roland AT&T Stadium flying up to New York here we know
25:16in the New York metro area a lot of Dallas Cowboys fans will be in the stands tonight
25:21and I'm going to back them at the five and a half point price 44 percent of the public went that way
25:25I'll agree with them make your way from Long Island cross a couple of rivers and get to East
25:31Rutherford New Jersey tonight to back your Cowboys and best of luck to Ohio State on Saturday as well
25:38DRS as we look at the fade the public poll here I would agree with the public here laying the
25:43number with Dallas however the New York Giants who have often been a favorite in 20 games since
25:49the start of last season an underdog in 19 of the 20 this will be the 19th consecutive game as a dog
25:56for Brian Dayball's boys tonight they've been pretty good keeping games competitive at least
26:02based on relative expectation nine nine in one against the spread two games this year or all
26:09three games this year for New York as an underdog point and a half dog week one at home they got
26:16absolutely shell-shocked by Minnesota probably should have won week two in Washington if they
26:22just had a kicker on the roster and then one outright last week by a ton against the Browns
26:28these two NFC East divisional foes both one and two each with their only win of the year on the
26:35road in Cleveland outright as the underdog but Donnie I mentioned the five and a half point
26:41spread are we forgetting the trends to start the year of the dog in the NFL through three weeks
26:48so far this season we have seen 16 teams be an underdog of five and a half points or greater
26:5514 and 2 against the number 10 outright victories the Giants are getting five and a half now despite
27:03opening as a four and a half point underdog earlier in the week and also like the competency
27:08of the New York Giants we didn't know if it was going to be there this year I do think Brian
27:12Dayball's a good coach but they just don't have a lot of talent but let's understand this they
27:15lost opening day to the Minnesota Vikings who quite frankly might be the best team in the NFL
27:19right now week number two if they just brought a kicker to Washington they win that football
27:24game and improve to one and one and last week going on the road against the Cleveland Browns
27:28winning that game they should be two and one right now going up against the one and two Dallas
27:32Cowboys may be changing the trajectory of the Giants season if they could win that game outright
27:37but it's always still comes down to this it's Daniel Jones at quarterback here do we expect
27:42greatness out of him no who's going to bail him out a rookie wide receiver repeatedly tonight to
27:46try to knock off the Dallas Cowboys that's what's tough to wrap your heads around but also as we
27:50talked earlier in the show there's not great ground games that you can lean on it's not as
27:54if you know Saquon Barkley is back with the New York Giants you say short week here we see that
27:58Dallas is susceptible to the run last week they got a hammered by the Baltimore Ravens you have
28:03a mobile quarterback in Daniel Jones but you don't really have single terriers and okay running back
28:07not one of the top let's just say 10 or 15 backs in football that could be an advantage that you
28:12could have used against the Dallas Cowboys which I don't think will be there tonight and also as
28:16we talked about so many times already been the accountability tonight of the Dallas Cowboys
28:20from what they showed unacceptable at back-to-back performances at home where they basically no
28:25showed here they're looking for an improved performance and Micah Parsons where you been
28:29man tonight is your night you're going up against two tackles you could probably be able to beat
28:32here and Daniel Jones who's known for a strip sack fumble or two in his career maybe he makes
28:38that big defensive imprint tonight and that happens listen I want to bet Micah Parsons over
28:43his number Daniel Jones has been sacked eight times including five the only game at home in
28:49MetLife against the Minnesota Vikings no sack props out just yet just players to record an INT
28:56so far in terms of the total 45 and a half is the number seems a little bit steep for a short
29:02week Thursday night football game the Cowboys though one of two teams along with the Ravens
29:07that have been over in all three games this year and going over for Dallas by an average margin of
29:12nearly double digits 9.8 points per game the Giants enter week four as one of the eight teams
29:18in a season where points are at a premium that have been under in all three games it's really
29:26interesting Donnie to look at the props tonight because we'll talk quarterbacks later on we'll
29:30give you the prop perspective with Tom Vecchio I will have a keen eye on both of the top targets
29:36I think it's a big night for CD lamb and I think when you look at Malik neighbors this will be an
29:41interesting time for the rookie wide receiver out of LSU everybody knows the ball is going to
29:47neighbors he has been targeted 37 times already this year leading the National Football League
29:52double digit targets in each of the last two weeks how much emphasis will the New York Giants put on
29:59getting the ball to neighbors and thus how much will Dallas be looking to stop that tonight yeah
30:05and I don't know Dallas's secondary hasn't been all that good to start this season so waiting
30:08on some injury guys at this point I mean I don't know if they're going to get better overnight at
30:12that point but we are taking a look at a guy that you're expecting to get 10 plus targets regardless
30:17of who he's going up against and then some of those scraps as we said could fall down to Juan
30:21Dale Robinson and also in that last graphic put up when I talk about the Giants just not being all
30:25that talented overall there's a guy on that screen that you could have put any name up there
30:30and I don't even know if I would have understood who that is Theo Johnson come on now John
30:36I believe that's a tight end right I think he's from Penn State you could have told me it was a
30:41kicker and I would have no idea who that guy was you know it's not a kicker who is the Giants
30:46kicker is it Graham Cano who did they sign last week yeah yeah Greg Jost break the leg all right

31:33tonight I'm not sure we're in for the most exciting game but I have some props I'm ready to get to
31:39third third week or third short week Thursday night football game of the year all divisional
31:44duels second consecutive in East Rutherford New Jersey at MetLife Vecchio you mentioned
31:50what is at stake tonight the Giants and underdog for a 19th consecutive game they've been a dog
31:5619 of 20 games since the start of last year but not bad covering numbers nine nine and one against
32:02the spread but the line has worked to Dallas now a five and a half point number in favor of the
32:07Cowboys put up or shut up time to make a statement I would agree is that why you believe the line is
32:14working to Dallas I do I think this game has to be a course correction for their defense they have
32:22been as everyone knows the past two weeks just abused left and right on defense Camara the
32:27Russian game from Henry and Lamar Jackson last week you name it that has to be the focus despite
32:33I think that has to be the focus for defense I still like Singletary this week I still think
32:36we're going to hit the under and this game has to be drawn out like I think the Cowboys need to
32:42slow this game down and if they try to get into a shootout or it turns into shit they don't want
32:46to get into a shootout but if it turns into a shootout things are gonna go really bad really
32:49quickly for them if we take a look at the Dallas Cowboys here Tom and try to line up their offense
32:55we've seen it in the press Ben and I've talked about it multiple times this morning already
32:59Dak Prescott saying we were unprofessional on offense this past weekend that has to get corrected
33:03and also Steve Lamb at his own press conference basically calling himself out saying he has to
33:08be better what can we look forward tonight from that Dallas Cowboys offense particularly from a
33:12Dak Prescott perspective this passing prop 256 and a half touchdowns over one and a half of that
33:17minus 146 price now an interception at minus 114 what are we looking at from a Dallas perspective
33:22particularly with Dak Prescott I think this has to be a classic Dak to CD game early and often
33:30get him 10 12 targets get him over that 100 yard mark get him a touchdown I don't want to say like
33:35they have to quiet the critics but the the contract talks coming into the season uh the
33:40sideline thing from last week like you said like they need to be more professional as a team
33:45individually get the ball early in office to see your best player operate as rationally as possible
33:51leave yourself out of third and long like do everything the right way cover the number keep
33:56the defense in check keep Malik neighbors in check if you can possibly can and win this game
34:01if they want to course correct on their season so let's now go to the New York Giants in back
34:07here you see Daniel Jones's number it's humble in comparison to Dak 199 and a half but in the only
34:13win for the G-Men this year last year in Cleveland he went over this number well over two bills his
34:20favorite target has been Malik neighbors the top target in the National Football League with 37
34:25of them so far through three weeks that's the rookie wide out out of LSU Malik neighbors how
34:32would you describe this connection so far between Danny Dimes and neighbors through the first three
34:37weeks uh it's been nothing short of amazing and granted I'm not very high on Daniel Jones
34:43long term I wasn't high on him coming into the season obviously neighbors is a phenomenal talent
34:47I'm gonna say now that neighbors is approaching what I say in the NBA when it comes to like an
34:54or a donchage where you don't take unders on him if you want to go to go to one of his props you
34:59take the over I'm not saying I'm gonna take the over every single time but I'm not willing to
35:02take an under on a player that's going to command a 35% target share that has this much skill that
35:08and especially the Giants defense continues to be bad they're gonna be constantly forced
35:11forced into these passing game scripts and neighbors is going to see 10 plus targets every
35:16single week regardless of how good the defense may be he's going to get yard so I'm just not
35:20willing to take an under on him at all if we look at also from a tight end perspective here
35:27Jake Ferguson four and a half catches 42 and a half yards how do you deal with a player that
35:32was explosive last week talking about a lot of targets coming in direction but also from the
35:36game flow perspective where he was down late in the game and getting a lot of targets how does
35:41that transfer over to a game where you don't expect to be down late in the third quarter
35:45the fourth quarter by two touchdowns to the Giants on a guy like Jake Ferguson right I think Ferguson
35:50is a good talent and like you said the game script against the Ravens poured directly into
35:54his usage that's why I was getting so yards I'm a little hesitant especially on a short week you
35:58know he missed uh two weeks ago when he was dealing with that knee injury after week one against the
36:02Browns so I'm generally a little hesitant on players that I think are good but ultimately
36:06they're secondary options in the offense and then the short week the injury so I would stay away
36:11from Ferguson again if we look directly that game script influenced him having a lot of yards so
36:16it's kind of just a move on for me and if I missed out an opportunity taking over so be it we can
36:21course you know we could just look at the change and things next week I would say is the best way
36:25to go about it. Vecchio the ground game has been a major concern for the Cowboys to start this year
36:31on both sides of the football offensively third worst in the NFL running for less than 74 yards
36:37per game defensively after giving up 274 to Derrick Henry Lamar Jackson in the flock last
36:44week they are the worst rushing defense in the National Football League allowing nearly 186 yards
36:50per game on the ground how does that influence how you approach the prop market for both Cowboys
36:56and the Giants in terms of that ground game? Yeah when it comes to the Cowboys a they're not
37:02running the ball well and b they're not stopping the run and I think we look to running backs on
37:07both sides so Zeke I particularly like him under seven and a half rush attempts which is sitting
37:12at minus 120. He's not being effective when he's out there also we're seeing a very split backfield
37:17with Rego Dow in the mix also Deuce Vaughn isn't playing a whole lot but he's taking a few you know
37:22touches here or there and given how bad the Cowboys defense has been if they fall behind Zeke does not
37:28play a part in the passing game so he will literally not be on the field we have seen his snaps decline
37:34over the last three weeks when they're playing from behind so I can't possibly go to Zeke who I
37:38just think is being ineffective under three yards per carry this season so just not a part of the
37:43last two weeks not a player willing to go to and then the other side Devin Singletary has been
37:47awesome he's averaging just over 17 total touches per game he's involved in the passing game and the
37:51rushing game Tyrone Tracy really isn't an issue we're seeing Devin Singletary play on over 70%
37:57snaps like this is the game to get him the ball and continue to exploit the Dallas defense of
38:02what they've struggled with so much so over 80 and a half rushing plus receiving for Singletary
38:08all right some top props there for Tom also major league baseball in full swing here west

39:00the first three weeks he has two catches for 31 yards in the three games so he's literally not
39:04involved in the passing offense he's playing on a good amount of snaps but yet he's just not a
39:08passing option when it comes to the Giants it's going to Malik neighbors it's going to
39:12Wandale Robinson and then it's going to single carry so under two and a half with Theo Johnson
39:17listen he's a big boy he's six six 260 from Winnipeg but Donnie doesn't like him and neither
39:23does Tom at least in terms of his receiving yards number tonight feel like Donnie actually doesn't
39:28like the individual Tom just doesn't like the props all right Vecchio two spots to clinch tonight
39:33the Dodgers in LA the Yankees in the Bronx New York has failed the last two nights the Dodgers
39:39with a win over San Diego yesterday a chance to clinch tonight will both teams get it done on this
39:44Thursday don't have faith in the Dodgers because Walker Buehler has been downright terrible I'm
39:51looking to Garrett Cole you're going up against uh the Orioles actually Corbin Burns so under
39:55eight in that game I'm probably looking at Garrett Cole over on out team you can find out I haven't
39:59seen it listed the Yankees bullpen has kind of been taxed over the past two games so they just
40:02need him to go deeper into the game tonight Tom Vecchio does it all he's the jack of all trades
