00:00What's up world, Kamani Rawlings, Automotive Rhythms and Men's Journal, and welcome to
00:10Sonoma Valley, California for a preview of the all-new 2025 Aston Martin DBX707.
00:18It's the supercar of SUVs.
00:28As you can see under the hood with this beautiful display, the British utility pumps out 697
00:34horsepower from this AMG-sourced 4-liter twin-turbo V8 that pairs with a wet-clutch 9-speed transmission.
00:41Hand-built?
00:42Great job, Rick Jones.
00:47You can transfer 100% of the torque to the rear.
00:50Yeah, so it's up to, we've got an active center diff in the middle of the car, which controls
00:55how much torque gets sent forward effectively.
00:58So if you have that open, it's 100% rear-wheel drive, or if you have it fully closed, it's
01:0250-50 split.
01:06To accentuate and enhance your DBX707, you've got to go with the carbon fiber package, which
01:12gives you a front splitter, side skirts, side blade, mirror caps, and rear diffuser.
01:18And then we have staggered Pirelli PZero performance tires that pair with 23x10-inch rims in the
01:23front and 23x11.5 in the rear to suck up all that asphalt at high speeds.
01:29Can you tell us about the ideologies that went into enhancing the cockpit?
01:33Yeah, absolutely.
01:35So the idea of the cockpit enhancement was, one, freshen up the interior of the car, bring
01:39it up and make it more modern-looking, because we did launch the car in 2020.
01:45We're now 25 model years, so it was necessary to enhance the look and the feel of the cabin
01:50alongside integrating Aston Martin's own infotainment system, which is a really big
01:54step for us.
01:55So that gives us total control over the platform and the future updates for the car.
02:00And it's also great to have Bowers & Wilkins as an audio partner.
02:05Ultimately, the 707 burns asphalt from 0-60mph in 3.1 seconds, while topping out at 193mph.
02:15Damn, let's fly, baby.
02:21Woo!
02:25With a starting MSRP of $249,000, the 2025 Aston Martin DBX 707 can be yours.
02:33Well, we'll catch you in the next episode.
02:36Let's ride.
