Tributes have been paid to an inspirational Yorkshire business leader who played a major role in developing one of the world’s largest security and surveillance systems companies. Synectics has announced with “deep sadness” the sudden death of Paul Webb, its chief executive officer.

00:35He was a passionate, decent, humble man who played a major role in bringing jobs and investment to Yorkshire.
