00:00Mhm. Alexa Del Mar is not the only place that has big races this weekend.
00:06Saratoga and Kentucky Downs have a couple graded stakes races. So let's
00:10start over at Saratoga to do some quick hits, set everybody up for some of the
00:13big races this weekend. What's going on in race number 10? Yeah, race 10 is the
00:18first of their three graded stakes on the card tomorrow and it's the grade
00:22three priorities for three year old Phillies going six furlongs on the dirt.
00:26So it's a short race. The number 72 sharp is going to be the favorite in
00:30here, which is a very familiar role for her. She's been the favorite in both
00:34her two other lifetime starts and she won the most recent one by 11 links,
00:39earning a 118 time from U. S. Speed figure, which is far more than anyone
00:43else has done in here. If you do want to try to beat her, I like the number
00:46three tricky temper who's gonna be 3.5 to 1. And she seems to be developing
00:51into her prime as a three year old winning her last two and just
00:54consistently improving her speed figures each time by decent margin. Um,
00:58one other exciting horse to know in here is the number nine bright work.
01:02Um, she was quite a champion as a two year old won her first four starts and
01:06then kind of stalled out and her progress stopped and had two
01:09disappointing races. But it turned out that she had an injury, so she needed a
01:13lot of time off and this will be her debut as a three year old. The first
01:17time we've seen her race since last November. We'll see some of the babies
01:21in race number 11. Alexa, it's the grade one spin away and that will be
01:25for two year old Philly. So set us up for race number 11 at Saratoga. Yeah,
01:30like you said, it's a bunch of inexperienced two year olds, which in
01:33my opinion are very fun races to handicap because really anything can
01:38happen. You don't have a whole lot to go off of. You know, you have pedigree
01:41and workouts and maybe a race or two. Um, but a lot can happen. But my
01:45favorite in here is the number 11 quiet side. She's been out once and just
01:50dominated the competition, winning by six lengths, putting up a very fast
01:54speed figure. And, um, I won't be surprised to see her improve again on
01:59that second start, which you often see with young horses. There's also the
02:03number eight, the Queen's M. G. In here. And if you're a fan of record setting,
02:07you may want to root for her because she won the other two big two year old
02:12graded stakes races this summer at Saratoga. So if she wins this one,
02:15she's gonna sweep all three, which will be the first time anyone's done it
02:18since 1987. The third graded stakes will be race number 12. It's the great
02:23to flower bowl, and we see a familiar face down on the inside, right? We're
02:27like goddesses back. Yeah, we're like goddesses back, and she's great. This
02:31is also a Breeders Cup winning your in challenge race. So the winner here gets
02:34a birth to the makers Mark Philly Mayor Turf on November 2nd, where they'll be
02:39gunning for $2 million in prizes. So there's a lot on the line, and we're
02:43like goddesses. The horse to beat. I don't think anybody's going to. She's a
02:46powerful closer. She loves these long distance races. She's the oldest in
02:50here at seven years old, but so consistently running really fast races.
02:54She'll be even money and
