00:00Computer Science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to
00:05send a video attachment via email on Microsoft Outlook using a Mac computer
00:11without further ado let us start the video. So in this tutorial you need to
00:16have access to a Mac computer and a card from Microsoft Office 365. This can be
00:21for work, school or business. We also need to have access to the desktop
00:24application as well as a video that we will need to compress to a good size
00:30before we send that via the email. So we can now go all the way down to the dock.
00:35Now let's go to Launchpad, go to Mac Office, go to Microsoft Outlook. Make
00:40sure you are signed into the account. Let's just wait for that to load. So go
00:45to inbox, go to new email. Before we do anything let's minimize Outlook for the
00:50moment. Now let's go all the way down to the dock, go to finder, go to movies, go
00:56to videos. Make sure you do have a video good size, let's say maybe 10 MB. The
01:04bigger the file that becomes a problem for your email because you will have to
01:09then attach this to the cloud and then we are able to use a link, attach that to
01:18the email and then send the email. When the receiver does receive the email, he
01:26or she will then click the link to access the video. In this tutorial, we are
01:32looking to compress a video or have a video compressed to a very small size so
01:38we can then add that to the email. So we can now right-click on the first video,
01:45get information, that looks like a very big video file size. Let's go to the next
01:51one, video, get information, 561 kilobytes which is absolutely correct. So we can
01:59right-click this, copy the video, let's just paste it at desktop for the moment
02:03to save all the time, will save us having to navigate to different files and
02:10folders. So video on the desktop, let's go back to Microsoft Outlook, let's go
02:16back to the opened email that we have. Let's now send this to myself, to
02:27computer science videos, subject video. Let's now compile an email.
02:40You
02:49Insert a signature, admin, now let's attach a file, go to the desktop, video,
03:01choose and the video itself has now been attached to the email. Now let's click on
03:09send and the email has now been sent to the main computer science videos account.
03:20If we go to sent, there we go, that's the video itself. We can now quit Outlook.
03:28Now let's go all the way around to the dock, go to Safari,
03:35go to office.com, make sure you are signed in to the account. Now go to Outlook
03:46and there we have the video within the email. We can click on this, if we want to
03:59we can play the video. Let's just click on X. Now let's click on Safari and so
04:07that's it for this video. I'll see you guys on my next tutorial. Thanks for now.
