00:00Hey weather watchers, ready for the weekend forecast? Let's dive in.
00:04Saturday is looking good thanks to high pressure keeping things fine and settled so expect
00:08plenty of warm sunshine after a cool start, perfect for those outdoor plans.
00:14But if you're in the south of the UK, heads up, it's going to turn breezy with cloudy
00:19skies and there's a chance of showers for southern counties and the Channel Islands.
00:24Feeling warm in the sunshine? Absolutely, especially with those light winds up north
00:29but down south the breeze and clouds will make it feel less warm.
00:33Now onto Sunday, as high pressure moves over to Scandinavia, the whole of the UK will be
00:38cloudier and breezier. But don't worry, Scotland and Northern Ireland
00:41will still catch some sunny spells and later in the day East Anglia and the South East
00:45will brighten up but there will be the risk of thundery showers moving northwards to parts
00:50of the Midlands, Central, Eastern and Northern England.
00:53And what about temperatures? Well in the north they'll be around average
00:56but in the south it will get very warm and humid with temperatures up into the high 20s
01:01in the South East.
