00:00Welcome to Mojo Plays and today we're taking a look at 20 amazing PC games you
00:15can't play anywhere else until some of them suddenly drop an inevitable console
00:20port but we'll see what happens
00:30Before we begin, we publish new videos all week long, so be sure to subscribe to Mojo
00:36Plays and ring the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:41Celico Though it was only just released on Steam
00:51in early access form, Celico is an incredible title that every first-person shooter fan
00:57needs to check out.
00:59Developed on the GZ Doom engine, you'll explore the highly destructible Celico as
01:03you take down baddies and try to uncover the mysterious events that led to its invasion.
01:15In addition to a stellar campaign, Celico offers expanded versions of each level where
01:20you can take on massive waves of enemies.
01:23Defeating these will further unlock goodies that give the levels even more replay value.
01:27Really, just 10 minutes of play will have you hooked for hours.
01:44Fallout 2 Really, you could go with either the first
01:56Fallout game or this, but the main reason we pick Fallout 2 is because of the difficulty.
02:02Combat presents more of a challenge than it did in the first game, and some of the randomized
02:06elements can make for tough runs.
02:17Even then, it's a blast to play and experiment with different character builds while experiencing
02:22the story under a slightly different lens each time.
02:25Just be aware that with age comes a few bugs and glitches that may have slipped through
02:30the cracks.
02:37Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip If you have been longing for a successor to
02:52The Simpsons Hit and Run, like some of us here at Mojo Plays have, you've found yourself
02:56a new game to play.
02:58Terry wants one thing and one thing only, a car, but why does he need this car so badly?
03:04So he can go to space.
03:06Makes sense.
03:14But in order to reach that goal, you'll have to fulfill favors for your fellow citizens
03:19before you can use their junk to reach the stars.
03:22With its derpy characters, hilarious writing, and fun driving physics, Tiny Terry's Turbo
03:27Trip is a blast for those who miss the open-world driving games of old.
03:41Sovereign Syndicate Sovereign Syndicate was one of the first
03:51big surprises to come out of the indie scene in 2024.
03:55Whereas most CRPGs will use dice rolls to perform skill checks, Sovereign Syndicate
04:00takes a different approach by using tarot cards instead.
04:03Through this method, a skill check won't always be a success or a failure, but rather
04:09a new path in your campaign.
04:14Yes, it is very much like Disco Elysium and how that game implemented thoughts as a means
04:23to mold your character.
04:25That said, you'll probably enjoy this steampunk-themed title if you loved Disco Elysium.
04:37My Friendly Neighborhood Nothing could have prepared us for a survival
04:49horror game inspired by Sesame Street.
04:51My Friendly Neighborhood puts you in the role of Gordon, a repairman who has been sent to
04:56an abandoned studio that has suddenly been rebroadcasting its children's TV series.
05:10In addition to the hilariously awful and dumb things the puppets say, My Friendly Neighborhood
05:15does take note of your actions as your encounters with the show's notable stars will affect
05:20which ending you get.
05:21It does get wholesome in some areas, but it's still messed up in its own ways.
05:27And trust us, it is a game worth checking out.
05:37Roller Coaster Tycoon Series When looking at games that let you build
05:48your own theme park, Planet Coaster dominates the conversation these days.
05:52However, if you want to experience the early days of this type of business management games,
05:57the first three Roller Coaster Tycoon games are available on Steam.
06:01And they are just as fun to play today as they were back then.
06:12Though a bit more restrictive with its use of tiles to place down rides, RCT is still
06:17flexible enough to create the theme park of your dreams with its selection of attractions.
06:22Of course, you can also do what so many of us tried to do, build nothing but death traps
06:27and completely tank your business.
06:37Nightmare of Decay There are plenty of horror games you can find
06:51on PC, especially when looking for a game that harkens back to the old days of Resident
06:56Evil and Silent Hill.
06:57If you're somebody on a bit of a tight budget but can't shake off the craving for a retro-styled
07:02survival horror, Nightmare of Decay is perfect for you.
07:15After a weird night, you awaken to find yourself trapped in a massive manor filled with puzzles,
07:20traps and strange beings that may or may not harm you.
07:24It's hard to tell.
07:25Will you be able to escape before you succumb to the monsters lurking around the corner?
07:29Five bucks and you'll find your answer.
07:39Not for broadcast.
07:50This FMV game presents a rather obscure task we really don't see in a lot of games.
07:56You man a control panel for a television show, and as guests are brought on, you'll
08:01have to determine what moments need to be censored as the show is broadcasted live.
08:16On top of that, you'll have to utilize sound effects and commercials in order to keep the
08:21show alive and audience retention at an all-time high, and the choices you make outside of
08:26your private life will affect what happens in the broadcast room and vice versa.
08:31Live by your job's demands or let chaos ensue on everyone's screens.
08:36The choice is yours.
08:48Children of the Sun
08:57This isn't your ordinary sniper game.
08:59No, Children of the Sun is a puzzle game disguised as a sniper game, and it's a really smart
09:05one at that.
09:06You only have one bullet to take out every enemy in the area, but you can alter its trajectory
09:12using a small amount of psychic power.
09:21You can also take out birds, explosive barrels, or gas tanks to extend your shot and plan
09:26a new trajectory.
09:27It's a game that requires a ton of thought and maybe a bit of trial and error, and it
09:32doesn't overstay its welcome as you'll be able to get through the game in just an
09:35evening or two.
09:45Dungeon Keeper Gold & Dungeon Keeper 2
09:58While the IP has been possibly forever tainted by that godforsaken 2014 mobile game, the
10:03first two Dungeon Keeper games are still sinfully pleasant to play.
10:08You must build your very own dungeon to lure and steer heroes into traps in an attempt
10:13to kill them before they can reach your treasure.
10:23Not only that, you will also have to go out and tackle rival dungeons to further cement
10:27your domination of the world.
10:29Don't let the mobile game's catastrophe steer you away from playing these.
10:33Dungeon Keeper Gold & Dungeon Keeper 2 truly are fantastic games to play today despite
10:38their age.
10:40Please go check these games out.
10:42Dungeon Keeper deserves to come back, just not in that dumb mobile form.
10:55Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines While we wait for the sequel to come out,
11:07you really ought to check out the first Bloodlines.
11:10Be warned, you will have to install a mod to make the game playable as it cannot run
11:14on modern hardware.
11:15It doesn't take much effort to install though, and once you do have it installed, you will
11:20be rewarded.
11:28Bloodlines does a tremendous job in immersing you in its fictionalized, gothic version of
11:33Los Angeles thanks to its unique environments, imaginative characters, and how it offers
11:38various ways to play with your character build.
11:42It may be a tad archaic in its controls, but if you can get around that, you'll find
11:47a fantastic vampire game.
11:58Sprawl We know we've already put a good handful
12:08of FPS titles on this list, but Sprawl was widely slept on by everybody in 2023, including
12:15us.
12:16To promote this cyberpunk-themed game, you'll have to think on your feet as you attempt
12:20to bring down an oppressive, weaponized government.
12:30From shotgun-propelling jumps to dodging enemy fire, every bit of movement in Sprawl feels
12:35insanely good to control.
12:37You can even use wall-running to pull off sick maneuvers, like running around a tight
12:41room or corridor to get high enough so you can rain death from above.
12:45For $15, this game is well worth your time.
12:59Lethal Company It's kind of wild how Lethal Company exploded
13:13regardless of its release happening right at the tail end of 2023.
13:18Honestly, this truly is one of the best games you could play with friends.
13:22All you guys have to worry about is to explore the area, find scrap to sell so you can buy
13:27better equipment, and most importantly, stay alive.
13:38But the best part about this game is the proximity chat.
13:42The further you get away from your team, the less likely they'll be able to hear
13:45you.
13:46This alone can make for some extremely funny moments, as you'll hear friends panic before
13:51their comms suddenly cut off and you're left wondering what became of them.
13:55And yes, the game has seen even more updates since launch that have added more creatures
14:00to encounter.
14:02Good luck!
14:10System Shock 2 We'll forever respect the original System
14:23Shock, but its 1999 sequel reigns supreme in our eyes.
14:27Between the sound design, visuals, gunplay, level design, and writing, it's kind of
14:32hard to find something to say about this game that hasn't been said already.
14:37Look, we'll leave it at this.
14:44If you recently played the 2023 remake of the first System Shock and loved every second
14:50of it, you owe it to yourself to play System Shock 2, even if it's an old game.
14:56Besides, this game will help push you deeper into the story while we wait for Night Dive
15:01Studios to finish their work on the long-awaited System Shock 3.
15:13Cosmos Quickstop Don't let its cutesy appearance fool you.
15:23While the visuals may be charming and the writing is super goofy, Cosmos Quickstop hides
15:27a sinister and challenging side to it.
15:31Help your Uncle Cosmo run the most successful quickstop in the galaxy by helping customers
15:36refuel, wash their spacecraft, offer them souvenirs, and prevent the station from getting
15:41pelted by asteroids.
15:42Oh, and keep those bathrooms clean, of course.
15:53Early levels do keep things breezy for a bit, but once you start rolling with interchangeable
15:57stations, things get super hectic.
16:00If you've been itching for a management game that'll keep you stimulated in short
16:03bursts, Cosmos Quickstop will leave you wanting more.
16:23Before we got the remarkable and thought-provoking not-for-broadcast, we had Papers, Please.
16:29Developed by former Naughty Dog staff member Lucas Pope, Papers, Please puts you in the
16:33role of an immigration inspector, and you must analyze each person's passport and
16:38documents while ensuring nothing fraudulent goes through.
16:50Sounds like a fairly simple task until outside forces begin affecting your flow, your pay,
16:56and eventually, your living situation.
16:58Honestly, we're surprised this game has only ever been playable on computers and mobile
17:03devices.
17:04If you haven't already, please go check this game out for yourself.
17:07It does open your eyes up to some pretty critical issues in the world.
17:18Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom
17:27Despite the basic title, Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom is perfect for those wanting a new 3D
17:32platformer or a new driving game.
17:34When we first saw this game, we were already charmed by its N64-like visuals.
17:38When we started playing it, we found a game that was immensely satisfying in its controls,
17:44clever in its level design, and a ton of fun to mess around in even if nothing is happening.
17:58Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom does plenty to invoke curiosity, and offers plenty of ways to traverse
18:03the world with drifts, jumps, and boosts.
18:06It won't take long before you start trying to pull off ridiculous maneuvers, and you'll
18:10be proud of yourself once you find those maneuvers.
18:21I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream
18:32Few horror games ever withstand the test of time, especially those that were released
18:36way back in the 90s.
18:38I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream is one of those few games.
18:42Even though it released way back in 1995, I Have No Mouth features some grisly imagery
18:47and dialogue that will strike fear into your heart as you try to help characters survive
18:51the wrath of a disturbingly hateful artificial intelligence.
19:05With its serious and grim subject matter, I Have No Mouth is not a game for the faint
19:09of heart, but if you can stomach through it, you'll find it to be one of the best written
19:13horror games ever made.
19:24Pizza Tower
19:31If you've been watching our videos, you'll recall that we named Pizza Tower one of our
19:35indie games of 2023, and for good reason.
19:38See, it's not just a successor to Nintendo's Wario Land series, it's much more than that.
19:44This is a game you cannot play like any other platformer, as you'll need speed and precision
19:48to earn those high grades.
19:59Easier said than done, as each level will make drastic changes to its layout once you've
20:03knocked out the level's pillar, it all comes together to create some of the most
20:07visually satisfying, and sometimes chaotic, speedruns.
20:18Ultra Kill
20:19Pure adrenaline.
20:31That is the only way to describe Ultra Kill.
20:34Whether you like boomer shooters, FPS games in general, or games you can speedrun, Ultra
20:39Kill is a must-own for a wealth of reasons.
20:42You want frenetic action?
20:44It's got that.
20:45You want creative level design that pushes your reflexes and aiming skills to the test?
20:49You'll do that.
20:50You want an ass-kicking soundtrack blaring the entire time you're playing?
20:54Then why are you not playing Ultra Kill?
21:01Sure, it's been in early access since 2020, but there's no excuse.
21:09Go play Ultra Kill.
21:10What are you doing?
21:11Stop watching this video.
21:12Go play Ultra Kill.
21:22But before you do, tell us what your favorite PC game to play is.
21:25Did it make our list?
21:27Personally, I've been playing a lot of Bellatro.
21:29I know that's not PC exclusive, but I've been glued to this thing all year.
21:35But let us know down in the comments what you're playing on PC, and be sure to subscribe
21:39to Mojo Plays for more great videos every day.
21:43Holy...
21:44Ooooooh!
21:45Oof!
21:46Oof!
21:47Golly!
21:48Oof!
21:49Golly!
21:50Thanks for watching.
21:51If you enjoyed the video, there's more where that came from.
