00:13Everything is ready for the 64th International Boat Show in Genoa from 19 to 24 September, which this year also takes over the iconic Pala Sport.
00:24Andrea Razzetto, president of I Saloni Nautici, underlines the strong growth that continues to characterize the sector and speaks of the completion of the waterfront.
00:34This is the 64th edition of the Saloni Nautici, after a wave of strong industries.
00:41A sector that has grown, also thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, has continued to grow over the past two years and has been tested by a study carried out by Deloitte and presented at the Palazzo della Borsa.
00:53We will find a large part of the work of those more strategic of the waterfront already completed, so we will have a blue pavilion with all the canals,
01:02the blue pavilion with all the benches that can be visited and traveled continuously and we will finally have our Pala Sport again, an iconic symbol for which the visitor will be welcomed.
01:15The Pala Sport will see it in its renewed form and from there it will start its journey of visit that will be exciting and complete as always.
01:23The nautical industry is a sector in which Made in Italy has managed to strengthen and position itself as a leader in international markets.
01:30The Italian nautical industry continues to grow.
01:34We have a great interest both in the numbers of the sector's progress data that we will present on the opening day.
01:43We can only anticipate that we will not disappoint the press because our office will be collecting the data with the Edison Foundation in the last few weeks,
01:52but after the presentation we had at the Global Yachting Market with Deloitte in Milan in July, we will most likely confirm a double-digit growth for 2023,
02:04so the seventh year of double-digit growth for the sector and let's not forget that in 2023 it was also exceeded the threshold of 4 billion euros of exports,
02:15but we are a leader not only in the super yacht compartment where we hold 51% of the portfolio of global orders, but also in the components and in the accessories.
02:26The 2024 edition of the Genoa Nautical Salon has among the central themes also that of sustainability,
02:32whose importance is even greater if we look at the responsibility that we have towards the new generations of sailors and nautical enthusiasts.
02:40We did everything we had to do, we are used to doing things at our best and therefore we don't like to aim high enough.
02:48When we do it, we do it well and therefore we want there to be no blunders on what we will present when we have the certification and we will have it soon.
02:57The certification is the ISO 20121 which is specific for sustainable events, which is an ISO standard that is recognized internationally
03:05and which presupposes all the adherence to a whole series of processes and implementations with very specific standards.
