Mapua team captain Clint Escamis embraces leadership role

After an 'almost' story in NCAA Season 99, Mapua Cardinals team captain Clint Escamis is all fired up to clinch the championship in the league's historic centennial year. The NCAA Season 99 Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Rookie of the Year recalled the stinging championship loss to San Beda University and used that heartache to toughen up. Taking on a leadership role this season, the 5-foot-11 guard expressed hope that his team would make it to the finals again, despite the absence of Mapua's key players Warren Bonifacio and Paolo Hernandez, who turned pro, and Peter Rosilio, who chose to play for Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
